Imperial tide is my go to strategic wwi game. Not as detailed and nuanced as PoG, but more my speed for what I’m looking for in a wwi game.

Played Diplomacy back in 1974 with folks from high school. It came in a large rectangular box back then. Came back from my first year of college in ‘75 and everyone had switched to D&D. Used to own the old SPI S&T version of WWI. I own Imperial Tide today and enjoy it.

Very nice list, I only have Diplomacy from those seven games you showcase. I never was much draw to WWI games for some reason

Thanks for the list, a few interesting titles on the list 😁 Few I'd add to it as meant to be good are Fatal Alliances (WiF WW1), Death in the Trenches and Balance of Power - all from Compass😁

I have it, had it a long time and like it. But like the video states, it can be tedious and fronts can bog down, like WW1. But fun to try different strategies.
