Since I've started watching AquaChigger I've purchased..... Garrett At Pro = $500 Garrett At Pro-Pointer = $140 Neodymium Magnet = $50 Sea Doo SeaScooter = $350 Snorkel/Mask/Fins = $60 Gold Panning Stuff = $20 And guess what!?.......... I've found absolutely nothing valuable. It's harder then it looks. Chigg you are the Master of treasure hunting!
many hours of research, know where you are going first. I only hunt wooded areas. Where people lived hundreds of years ago. Find areas that are difficult to reach. Areas that require at least half hour more hike through the woods. Most will not take the effort to get there, they won't.
inspiring video, i wish i could get on that rich of soil, we are really slow and careful looking for specks around here, , but if i was there id be burning through the pans cherry picking a bit,so i don't blame you for keeping it quick.more rolls of the dice, more chances for that nugget! good luck!
good job on the gold sir am pretty sure I saw Ricky in the back ground today walking around i bet with all of those mosquitos u have to hold your breath alot lol
At 10:58 when you dumped the water out of the pan, was that not a big nugget on the left? I kept watching it swirl around in the pan and I was like nonononono grab it!! Maybe it's just a tan rock but it sure looked like a nugget
You can only catch a glimpse of it a couple times while panning. He seems to be a little too aggressive with his panning technique, it's not out of the realm of possibility for a nugget to fall out if it's sitting on top of the heavy black sand
love the videos...although your slice is way to strep of an angle , a lot of black sands on your carpet at the end of the sluice. your washing gold out... What do they charge to stay up there at camp for months at a time ?
Most people keep it in a vial or something. He won't get enough to bother with selling it unless he's really needing money. He will likely put it with his savings.
Why not? He's not going to get a large amount and it's not like he's hiding these locations or methods. Gold panning is something you always do if you visit Alaska if you are even slightly interested.
Very nice Beau!! Just to change topic and videos, but what was wrong with the 4 wheeler that you kept it running all the time when you went exploring to monument rock?
i see big nuggets and tons of sparkles in pan all the time but no way he cant see that much it has to be fools gold or something ...pyrite ? is that what its called mind boggling all the sparkles the cam can see
Great video, Beau; however, one criticism: The water was running too fast in the sluice and you probably lost 50% of the gold you dug....maybe more. I've sluiced much I the past and slower water speed in the sluice is critical. Jus' sayin'......and the skeeters up in Prudhoe Bay are 10 times worse during caribou migration.
deweys I lived in Alaska for 20 years. You eventually get used to them. If you think the mosquitos are big and bad wait until the knats (pronounced "nat")show up. They bite hard & drive the caribou and moose crazy. A lot of time the caribou will be running in a herds because the knats are driving them crazy. The large knats will bite you and leave a spot with a white core in the middle. This spot will get infected if you don't get that core out so It can heal up. They're nasty buggers
Nice little amount of gold there, mosquito's were pretty bad they drive me mad cant detect without some spray. was that what you forgot that you had forgot... lol
I know this is a bit off topic but I am a amateur treasure hunter .. wondering if you can recommend a good metal detector which is easy to use to start.. Also affordable.. seen the garrett ace 200 ... any opinions ?
If you think the mosquitoes are bad just wait for the Nats to show up. Oh you'll love them. The nats drive the caribou and moose literarily crazy. Sometime when a herd of caribou are running it's because of the nats biting them. Once they find some snow patches they try to hang out on the patch the nats don't like the patches cause the temp is lower on the patches of snow. Nats don't usually start showing up until mid August or later depends on the weather. Most of the time these are called moose nats. The spelling can be knat, gnat, or nat.
Lobe your videos bud. Was wondering if you could shoot me the info of the camp your talking about on this video that you can stay at. Very interested in taking a couple week trip and have been looking around for the rite adventure. Any help would be much appreciated. Heavy pans to ya
Quagmire88 Anchorage and Fairbanks both have placed were you can buy and sale gold. Check the Gold Market to see what it's worth. Look it up on the internet.
Riggers gloves are amazing, design for wet and avoids cut on hand a descent hat waterproofing and padded waterproof leggings motorbike with padded knees I thought would be essential for out gold finding since hand legs head are important for comfort and security hopes it helps preparing is the most important thing to do before gold fever
george potthast According to their website the Chigger posted if you are accepted as a crew member you pay $2000 a month and $1500 a month to rent an ATV. You provide your groceries propane and gasoline
Hi. I have watched all the Gold Rush videos on TV. I see that they will not let the water run if they are not feeding the plant, otherwise the gold which has been caught, could be washed out. You did this on your last video, as you took your time to get down to the pump to shut it off. could have lost some gold. Danny.
should use something like a length of dredge hose to connect the lay-flat hoses so they don't kink... then, you won't get any burst hoses and pipes and such... something I've seen from Gold Hog, and it makes a ton of sense. then, could use quick clip fittings to connect everything and would end up being super simple and low maintenance... so, less time fiddling with equipment, and more time getting the gold =)
You get so excited and forget your brain!! You could do very well if you just stop for a min and think before you leave, even at home you forget stuff!!!!You are a older man and still get so excited lol

N.ESS if it was swirl and moving that easy, it wasn't gold. Sorry!
You can only catch a glimpse of it a couple times while panning. He seems to be a little too aggressive with his panning technique, it's not out of the realm of possibility for a nugget to fall out if it's sitting on top of the heavy black sand
Wow! Gold!!

can you do a video and show us all the gold you collected?
What do you plan to do with the gold?
Most people keep it in a vial or something. He won't get enough to bother with selling it unless he's really needing money. He will likely put it with his savings.

Will you show us the total amount of gold you hauled for this trip?
Jonne Lopez probably not. Would you?
Why not? He's not going to get a large amount and it's not like he's hiding these locations or methods. Gold panning is something you always do if you visit Alaska if you are even slightly interested.
Do you move the pump at night in case the river rises?
Very nice Beau!! Just to change topic and videos, but what was wrong with the 4 wheeler that you kept it running all the time when you went exploring to monument rock?
Gary Woods alternator won't charge.

The mosquitoes at the end there look terrible! You should get one of those netted hats or something.. I'd go nuts
deweys I lived in Alaska for 20 years. You eventually get used to them. If you think the mosquitos are big and bad wait until the knats (pronounced "nat")show up. What you forgot doesn't have anything to do with mosquitos does it! LOL
I haven't seen you detect the tailings, What if there's a BIG nugget in it
If you think the mosquitoes are bad just wait for the Nats to show up. Oh you'll love them. The nats drive the caribou and moose literarily crazy. Lobe your videos bud. Was wondering if you could shoot me the info of the camp your talking about on this video that you can stay at. Very interested in taking a couple week trip and have been looking around for the rite adventure. Any help would be much appreciated.

Nice video ♡
How much do they charge
how would you sell this and how much would you actually get if you had collected enough?
Quagmire88 Anchorage and Fairbanks both have placed were you can buy and sale gold. Check the Gold Market to see what it's worth. Look it up on the internet.
Look up to see what an oz is going for.
The ghost of Sir Francis Drake is going to rise from his watery grave so he can seize all of your gold. Beware Beau!
i thought it was really important to shut down the water pumps when no material is being put over the mats. As seen on Gold Rush
Beau your just used to panning civil war bullets they're a lot heavier than light gold. Ha ha
Sweet jeebus the mosquitoes!
How much do they charge.
george potthast According to their website the Chigger posted if you are accepted as a crew member you pay $2000 a month and $1500 a month to rent an ATV. You provide your groceries propane and gasoline
Those were bug mosquitoes. Good thing they didn't carry you away!
