It was a crisp autumn evening in Columbia, South Carolina. The Gamecocks were set to take on their fierce rival, the Clemson Tigers, in a highly anticipated matchup. As the sun began to set, the stands at Williams-Brice Stadium filled with excited fans decked out in garnet and black. The Gamecock faithful were ready to cheer on their team and see them come out on top. As kickoff approached, the atmosphere in the stadium was electric. The band struck up the "2001" as the team took the field, and the crowd went wild. The game was a hard-fought battle, with both teams trading blows back and forth. But the Gamecocks were determined to come out on top. In the fourth quarter, with the score tied at 17, the Gamecocks had the ball deep in Clemson territory. The crowd was on its feet, cheering loudly as the offense took the field. Quarterback Ryan Hilinski dropped back to pass and surveyed the field. He spotted wide receiver OrTre Smith breaking free down the sideline and launched a perfect spiral in his direction. Smith caught the ball in stride and raced into the end zone, giving the Gamecocks the lead. The Clemson Tigers fought back, but the Gamecocks' defense held strong. When the final whistle blew, the Gamecocks had secured a hard-fought 24-17 victory over their rival. As the players celebrated on the field, the crowd erupted in cheers. The Gamecocks had come out on top in a thrilling matchup, and the fans couldn't be happier. As they left the stadium, the Gamecock faithful were already looking forward to the next matchup against the Tigers. They knew that no matter what, their team would always give it their all and represent the garnet and black with pride.
I no longer have SC winning it all solely because of how inconsistent Zia has been this year, they gonna get the doors blown off them come tournament time
@@ry9803 I won’t cop out and make some bullshit excuse, I’ll own my words. But I will say this, I’m rooting for SC but gun to my head, I’m picking Stanford to win it all. They were up 18 on SC earlier in the year and collapsed. That loss was on them and not SC playing great, yes South Carolina is deep but I Gurantee if they face each other for the title they won’t get by with Zia having a Goose Egg in the scoring column

@@stormyweather9917 and there’s no doubt. Come tournament time, anything can happen. And yeah I’m still laughing with my family and friends. It’s no big deal, really. I love good competition games. It had me on my toes today that’s for sure. But this isn’t the end yet. We have work to do. The girls on both sides will still be cool with each other so no need for the fans on both side to argue etc. When i seen almost othe players on Kentucky getting emotional and the coach, i felt it for them. They will enjoy this!! See you all in the NCAA tourney. I will be watching Kentucky!
