Baker had the best release for week 4. He ripped the ball in 2.08 seconds. Helped his O-Line a lot. Need a QB who makes quick decisions. If not for drops, he would have had 500 yards. He didn't need a running game to get going. Phily defense dropped back in fear of the passing game and opened up the running game. Nick Chubb would average 7 yards per carry with this version of Baker.
The failures of the front office are the reason for this horrible offense. Pros don't quit. These guys are already quitting. As much as I didn't like the Watson deal, he seemed like the only one out there that gave a damn.

The Browns management is inept and should all be fired. They misevaluated Mayfield and his potential and misevaluated Watson's potential even though all the evidence was available to them. Watson's record was no better than Mayfield's and he never won a playoff game even though the Texans had a stacked team. He was a poor leader, held the ball too long which resulted in his serious knee injury, and he quit on his team, not to mention the sickening character issues. It also turns out he is fragile and incapable of adapting to offensive schemes and has turned into nothing more than a mediocre backup QB. And not only did they not properly evaluate Watson, they cut the worst deal in NFL history to get him, which will handicap the Browns for years. As we can see with the maturing of Mayfield, if they had kept him and the draft picks and the cap space, the Brown's would have been in the Super Bowl by now and one of the elite teams in the league. This ownership and management group are pathetic and a disgrace to the organization and the city.

Tampa is 9-3 in their last 12 games. If Baker hadn't gotten hurt in 2021, they were in that trajectory. They had a two score lead against the Chiefs at Arrowhead. Chubb's fumble and the Joe West defense lost that game.
