Watched the Hardlore ep with Jon from Vein, remember him talking about how 100Demons was what got him into the Hxc scene. Superrr cool seeing him right up front and interact with Bruce pretty much the whole set
I wouldn't classify them as metalcore, to me and many others in the Northeast these guys are the definition of Hardcore. They did a demo tape and in the eyes of the lord with Bruce, and then they did the self titled with Pete. One of my favorite bands, but would love to see Pushbutton Warfare reunite for a show, never will happen without Justin and rightfully so.
If you can find it, there’s a 2 track demo from 2007(?) with Bruce doing vocals again. Also allegedly they got a record written it’s just not been a priority to get it finished. I think Pete was doing more with his Oi! band at the time. Maybe someday.

It is not in a sense that for fuck's sake it is all just angry music and we are splitting hairs here. On the other hand, metalcore is a sub genre that suffered/changed the most regarding it's associations in all fronts to it's degradation. So when we say that "this band is metalcore", than it better should be if you know what I mean :)

I grew up with Jeremy Bubba Braddock’s youngest brother, we were long time friends thru grammar and middle school, I must of slept over his house 100 times. I remember watching Bubba play in another local band called IN VEIN. Seems like another lifetime ago.

right before covid there was a big rouse about how they were “back” in Mass. they were holding down NH/VT/parts of CT for a while but they got kinda run out of Mass by real dudes. they’re shitty gang LARPers and they still show up from time to time, honestly especially in NH.
They always got beat down in DC. They tried starting chapters there numerous times but were quickly dispatched.
You just know that when the bass player is wearing glasses, you're in for some filth. This is true with every band across all genres.
