My father refuses to use ranged bros due to their ineffectiveness vs armor and Skellys. Thanks to you, he might change his opinion real quick. Any other tips for why ranged bros are a viable option for late game? Thanks again in advance
since we have slingshots now they are not ineffective against skeletons (they can even debuff them on hits to the head) anymore. crossbows can pierce through armor and if you choose the right perks, they can easily debuff enemies with heavy injuries and do lots of damage. the crossbows of the goblin oversees can even push enemies one tile away. im not a huge fan of bows at the moment but bows are very effective against squishy targets like bandits or orc young/goblins. its definitely worth to take 3-5 range bros with you. if you do not want to have these range bros that can only shoot arrows (poacher, hunter), you can choose sellswords, raiders, barbarians or even non-combat backgrounds like historians because everybody can shoot with a crossbow and most of these backgrounds have quite decent stats for melee as well. so they can potentially take a few hits or even fight in melee combat a little bit.
I've never been a fan of crossbow hybrids, but having a few dedicated bow archers is very important for a lot of enemies. Their main use is to kill high-value targets like enemy arbelesters, necromancers, berserkers, shamans, etc before they can wreck you. Not to mention that having a bunch of archers makes enemies come to you instead of hanging back and sniping at you, which makes goblins and brigands a lot easier. They're also handy for putting overwhelm stacks on dangerous enemies like lindworms and the like. As for enemies that aren't vulnerable to archers, like skellies or late-game orcs? Just don't bring them. Unless you're doing Lone wolf, you should have enough guys that you can bench some or all of your archers and put out a more melee-oriented group.
@@FilthyRobot Thanks for the quick reply ! I was just wondering cuz it seems like a game you might enjoy. and of course i want to watch you play it lol

Off topic question. Do you have any plans on playing Total War: three kingdoms?
I'd like to know this as well
Unsure. I haven't really managed to get into the total war series yet

EXCELLENT!
I don't know much about this game but it seems like if you brought all archers and just lowered his accuracy he wouldn't be much of a threat.
He can teleport to your fragile archer and grind them to meats
whats the point if no loot, other than challenge?
it gives the hp regen armor, the fuck do you mean no loot
@@SulphurDew Deniz probably didn't know of this fights existence or the fact you get loot after the fight.
