I agree that it was a Fido tie out, or a dragon...Saw up to that stain and turn over saw other side may end up with a nice stained 2 in thick lumber.

The bolt had a eye on it, and it was all they had to tie out their Chihuahua! 😮😅

That’s kinda crazy ! Not sure why that bolt was in there. Good you didn’t ruin a saw Blade.
@@bucktalesoutdoors7566 this was about a foot from the bottom of the tree. Had to be an anchor for something. That would of ruined a blade for sure.
Looks like a threaded rod from something like a vise or scissor jack. Maybe instead of a yard tree it was a junk yard tree. 😁
@@southernadirondackoutdoors it was easily a 5/8" bolt. I can't even imagine what it was for. Luck was on my side when I missed it with the chainsaw!
