First went there in '66 ........things have changed, all except for the diving rocks .....when I learned SCUBA, I found many treasures that had fallen out of pockets there ....
@@droppingnext6234 off the end of the point on the deep side ( the diving rocks side) the bottom will drop away to 65 feet, but right where everyone usually jumps it used to be about 8-15 feet and varies from year to year as the level of the Great Lakes are allowed to raise and lower (my dad was Coast Guard in those days) .... Use care when jumping off "suicide" - I watched someone jump from a tree and when he tried to push out, the tree went back and he barely hit the water, although he did dis-locate his shoulder .... had a tough time getting out of the water in great pain ...... not a kid either .....

@@kenwiberg6517 good advice Ken. It's a dangerous jump. My dad wisdom deterred me from giving that suicide jump a try. I like that decision!
