Dude, I talk about Tools in general. I would definitely not say that I'm out here "pushing" Chinese tools. There are plenty of Klein Tools in my videos also. But not every guy out here is a union worker making 30+ dollars an hour. Not everyone works for a company that buys all their tools for them. Not everyone can afford top of the line stuff. Sometimes you just need to save money wherever you can and still have a reliable and trustworthy instrument. And the fact of the matter is.... If it has a computer board and an LCD display, it is all coming from one of 2 places China or Taiwan. That fancy Fluke meter was made in China. Although most of Klein hand tools are made in the USA, their electronics are not. All your test equipment from Amprobe, Fieldpiece, UEI, Testo ext. ext. ext. All comes from China or Taiwan. In fact, this exact manometer is sold by Supco (DDM55) here in the United States for 2x the cost but it's still made on the exact same assembly line in China. Sometimes guys get a false sense of "doing something good" just because they're buying from a company in the United States but not realizing their entire product line is made in China or Taiwan. it is just simply not feasible for companies to produce electronics in the United States. I do my homework and I know my tools and I know manufacturers... I just try to give guys other options. I would much rather a guy be checking gas pressures with a Chinese manometer than not checking them at all because he can't afford an instrument to do it with. And if a man saves $50 on a manometer that's a pair of Klein linesman pliers and a pair of Klein wire strippers he can put in his tool bag. I hope you see what I'm saying here, because I believe we're both on the same page. 👍
And thanks for watching my videos.

I’m a DIY’er and I have the exact same manometer and I love it. Today I had to make a step-down hose from 3/16 to 1/8” and I used a brass double barbed adapter coupling that I bought on Amazon. After making my adapter hose and connecting it to the manometer (only) , the readings went way off 0. It turns out that when they made that cheap POS adapter, they forgot to make a hole between the two sections😫. The adapter was promptly deposited in the proper receptacle and replaced with a plastic one.
Check your test adapters before using. Save yourself some grief👍.

Go to PetSmart, in the fish tank Department, and you can purchase very long lengths of high quality silicone tubing and it's pretty cheap. I think they carry it in blue and black . Should be the perfect diameter. Take the manometer into the store with you just to try it out on the ports and make sure it fits to your liking. Thanks for watching 😎👍

@@T-one7 yes you can usually find that fitting at a hardware store. It's a "NPT" pipe threaded fitting on one side & barbed on the other.
