But the more I poked around I was shocked...so many amazing songs with NO tutorials at all. And so many amazing songs with crap tutorials! Not to diss anyone. That's fine. People are trying their best. But come on now...no one on youtube anywhere on earth doing a detailed break down of Waiting Around to Die!??!

I don't know all the versions, but if I had my druthers, you would teach the one that's easiest for a semi-beginner to play. I'm glad you like this song well enough to teach it. You have good taste in Townes
First time I heard this tune it was performed by his son. I actually prefer that version. One of my very favorites.
Ha, heck of a take. I know what you mean in the sense that there's something awesome about hearing an amateur's raw version of a tune that be be very refreshing and honest. But his voice doesnt compare to his dad's. His dad clearly had put in the hours in a way his boy has not.

you're welcome! Glad you're enjoying! Which version of The Hole? There's a bunch out there and I'm not sure which has cool guitar playing. The studio version is just...strange! And same with Alone and Forsaken. I just know one live version, and he's just strumming. There's really not much to teach and I'm sure the chords are online. Let me know if there's some picked version I'm not aware of.

I love your videos so much as a guitar player and Townes fan... I'm just gonna jump on the request train here and ask if you'd ever do a lesson for Blaze's Blues. It has such a bluesy, clanky, and fun riff and I can't find a good lesson for it anywhere. If not, I'm gonna still keep watching your videos because they are all bomb.
