BAP contribution to the evolution of kpop especially from its 2nd generation to its 3rd/4th generation is so so so undermined it will never stop makes me furious. Everyone are snobbing them now forgetting a lot of the things they are jamming to concerning kpop were brought and popularised with groups like BAP. By BAP time and with their dynamism and influence we knew 2nd generation kpop was gone.
B.A.P being forgotten is one of the biggest sins in kpop.
Their discography is top notch. Definitely check out their music especially NOIR album
It will never cease to boggle my mind how many ARMY have no clue that B.A.P. was the blueprint for BTS.

imo b.a.p is still in their own class and league, like yea bts good but b.a.p hits harder with their concepts and cinematic approach for their mvs.... they should've established bcu (b.a.p cinematic universe) for real 🤣
How were they the blueprint, if they're so opposite? Give it an actual thought. Makes no sense. That's like saying BTS is the blueprint for SVT, or Shinhwa was the blueprint for BAP. Bang Yongguk has been the most active, but that is largely due to him being finished military duties.
Zelo(the speed rapper) has his fair share of solo tracks.
JongUp does more pop-like solos.
Daehyun their lead vocalist is either finished or just finishing military as I type this, either way he is gearing up for a solo run.
Youngjae has been doing more Kdrama acting Lately.
Himchan has gotten into some shady legal troubles.
daehyun finished his military on may, and now starting his youtube channel name 893번지

Hey Anthony, thanks for reacting to B.A.P, One Shot is one of their most iconic mv the other one is Skydive, it's 10mins long but so worth watching, consider it an upgrade to One Shot, you should definitely check it out.
The reason for the 2 separate endings is to show that going down that path ends in only 2 ways death or prison. The members names are yongguk, himchan, jongup, daehyun, youngjae and zelo (2nd member of rap line). They've all done some kind of work out of B. A. P but also had to do their military service. In regards to Himchan you will have to do some research

I hope you will check out some more of their music videos because to me they were one of the top and underrated groups of the third generation of K-pop! T.S. Entertainment was and is one of the worst K-pop entertainment companies in South Korea they no longer exist they’ve had a lot of controversy and lawsuits against them by their K-pop idols! The one about BAP their controversy stems from the mist treatment that they are received while they were under this TS entertainment Company. They kept the boys from having their own phones they weren’t even allowed to have their own cell phones they were not even allowed to contact their family they weren’t getting paid for any of their performances or albums and the list goes on! Finally Bang Yong-guk the leader of BAP decided that they all were going to sue their company so that they could get their residuals and do payment and respect that they have not received after several years working under the company! They won their lawsuit they still continue to Stay with TS Entertainment company until their official disbandment in 2019. They refuse to resign with TS entertainment can you blame them! In an interview Bang Yong-guk said that TS entertainment didn’t give them enough creative expression they were allowed to have some expression as far as their artistry Bang yong Guk is a solo artist as you know now but he will still always be the leader of BAP ! BAP was one of those groups that was destined to become the best in kpop, it was the only group that fit Hip Hop perfectly, their videos, songs they were a gem and currently with Jong Up in peaktime and the guys reuniting give me hope for a Comeback that would be epic.

Thanks Anthony! I'm ARMY grandma who loved BAP. Been watching Kpop videos for a long time now,, many years, and I think one of the best videos I have ever seen for setting, costuming, vocals, and choreography is still BAP's MV for 'Warrior'. Have you seen it? So annoying how such talented people's careers can be ruined by the Korean music industry.
B.A.P is my ultimate kpop group. From rapping, dancing, vocals, lyrics, and live performance, they live up to their name; Best Absolute Perfect. The other members are doing solo. Jongup is more into RnB, Youngjae is more active as an actor but also has an album. Daehyun just got back from his military service and more into musicals. Zelo is more hiphop and recently signed to a new agency.
STILL my favorite kpop BG of all time even above BTS / STRAY KIDS and ATEEZ my 3 current fav groups . they're dope , strory telling dope, vocals dope , rap line dope , outfit dope , break dance dope .
Bang yongguk is one of the idol that have the deepest voice. (That's what makes him more charming🙊) Even his members likes to tease and imitating his voice🤣
You definitely need to check out Skydive which is soooo much more epic 😁💁

They have settle the case. With the same company, on the 15th of November 2015 they made a comeback with the song Young, Wild & Free until they ended their contract with their company in 2019. They are now all in good condition. Except one member out of 6 was sexual assault. And he has decided to leave the group. So the group is left with 5 members. They will come back to make an appearance if everything is okay. For your information, B.A.P is one of the top in Billboard World Albums chart

Daehyun - singer, acting, modeling & teater
Youngjae - singer & acting in dramas

I would recommend you Skydive from them, has a similar vibe, like a movie.
Even if I was a fan of BAP, the other songs from them were softer and possible not on your like.
They also have songs with more deep meaning that I love, like "Wake me up", where they touch about mental issues.
The members have their own songs, but besides Bang Yong Guk, the others have more pop songs. They haven't really kept pop-hip hop agressive style.
B.A.P just came from the nowadays. They wayyyy too futuristic, they were so big at that time. Even their rival is EXO. TSent is their agency treated them soooo baddddd I'm angryyyy... They deserve moreeee than they got.

B.a.p is my favourite kpop group even though I'm not super familiar w them cos I became a fan after learning about their company drama and didn't want to get too invested and have my heart broken 💀

I also used to love the song try my luck by jongup, one of the vocalists of the group. It's kinda old and idk if it will be your style but if u want, u can check it out, it doesn't have an mv but it has a lyric video and live performance and jongup is an amazing dancer.

Please Anthony continue to react to them ! They were at one time very famous (2012-2014) then got into a lawsuit with their company and weren't active for 2 good years and when they went back they didn't find as much as recognition for all their work.
They are very talented, were writing their own music, choreography as well. Their impactful lyrics and the theme they chose to deal with are amazing. I would recommend "Wake me up" (deals with mental health), for a more rap focused song you can check "Pray" Zelo and Yongguk (the rappers) are so good on it. **

For me personally, this song is KPop Song of That Year (2013)...
But this group career is very unfortunate...
they started to become the most promising rising star, they became popular everywhere, even started doing their own world tour.
BTS's popularity was even below them at that period time (2013-2014)...
unfortunately their company is really bad, their careers are in free fall cuz of that conflict. instead, their careers are ruined...
now, BTS, which at that time still "NUGU" now become a World TOP1 boy group, while these guys who were more popular at that time have now disappeared somewhere...
maaaan i remember when this came out and everyone was losing their minds at the endings. i had a grudge against youngjae (the one who revealed to be the cop in the second ending) for like a month I'm ngl x'D

My ults always and forever no matter how many groups I grow to love…no one did it (or has done it) like them. Hopefully no groups have to go through what they did. Awful. If you think this is a movie, check out Skydive 😎 as for what they’re doing now, Himchan has issues (😒), Daehyun just got out of the military and will be resuming his solo career (though he did do a musical as part of his military service, which was beautiful), Youngjae is mostly acting a lot, Jongup is doing solo stuff, and Zelo is doing solo stuff as well…a lot of “fans” left though, so they don’t get the hype they deserve.😞 Yongguk still says that even with the troubles they had, being the leader of BAP was the happiest time of his life.
The guys will get together and do live vids or take pics sometimes, but they’re all just hustling. Did you see Yongguk’s documentary? It’s on his channel and it’s really good.
