Absolute, utter, jaw dropping perfection. Michael Holliday was what in the sports world is referred to as a five-tool player. In his case, vocalist, composer, instrumentalist (he played guitar), technical pioneer and actor. Supremely gifted, undeniably charismatic and an ongoing inspiration to many. His tragic death in 1963 continues to stagger the imagination. He is greatly, greatly, greatly missed.

How so? I like him very much (new discovery) and was upset to see that he died so young.

He suffered badly from stage fright , had a nervous breakdown in 1961 and died from a suspected drug overdose in 1963.
