Excellent shot and capture there, wonderful sight! Wishing you the best of luck Wednesday, and i suppose you will keep us entertained with some of your back catalogue no doubt! See you on the better side, best wishes to you, cheers Nick.
Still seem like new trains to me. Some of the 455s on South Western still have the extra trailer cars removed from the 508s to reduce them to 3 cars when they were transferred to Merseyrail.
On the train 🚆 company circumstances that class 507s and 508s are honestly facing the scrapyard because they are around 43 to 45 years old in 2023 where they were made between 1978 and 1980. They’re had a long life for over 4 decades. Probably scrapyard happens is replaced by the 53 of the 4 car classclass 777s where an option exists for up ⬆️ to a further of 4 car class 777s. All Merseyrail trains 🚆🚆🚆🚆 🚊🚊🚊🚊 🚂 🚂🚂🚂 are standard accommodation only where no toilets 🚽 🚻 and runs daily including public holidays except Christmas 🎄🎄🎄🎄🤶🤶🧑🎄🧑🎄🎅🎅 Day. However Merseyrail honestly runs on Boxing 🥊 Day from around 0900hrs in the morning until 1830hrs in the evening and runs on New Year’s Day 💥💥💥🎇 🎇 🎇 🎆 🎆 🎆 🍹🍹🍾🍾🍻🍻🥂🥂🍺🍺🧁🧁🍰🍰🎂🎂🎈🎈🎈🎊🎊🎊🎉🎉🎉🎏🎏🎏🪅🪅🪅. Rest in peace ✌️ ☮️ 3 car class class 507s and 508s. What happens to the 507s and 508s are that they are being recycled ♻️ which means waste not want not. Good 👍 for the environment on planet 🌏 earth 🌍. Although it’s nice 👌 and warm inside the train 🚆. 👍👍👍👊👊👊
Superb shots
Thanks Stephen 😁
Great catch mate. RIP Merseyrail PEPs
Thanks mate 😊

Yep but of course they are on the scrap list as well
Hey mate great video will you be at temple meads this weekend to see the thumper?
Thanks - I wish unfortunately back in hospital Wednesday
Idk why but I feel like the 37s have a reputation as the 'train killer'
Ha ha 😂 probably
If you know when the next working for one of these is, I would be delighted. Cheers
I am not sure to be honest this one came as a surprise as didn't see anything telling me this was coming out of Birkenhead until last night.
@@WalesRail Ah, fair enough, cheers anyway
I always think of Vauxhall when I see ROG logo 🤣🤣 but they don't build tractors 🤣🤣. Prayers for Wednesday 🙏🙏
Lol and thanks Robert

this is because of the new 777s probably
Yep when I was up there in February I went on one 777 to Kirkby recorded the 508,507's as I expect for the last time
A video was on here the other day of new 777s at Acton Bridge en route to Liverpool
Yep I must admit the 777 was. Definitely An improvement over the venerable 508/507
😫😫 very sad to see 2 units go to scrap 😢😢
Sure is --- went up to Mersey rail other day to get these before they go
