People are saying what a brave thing to do but, for what it's worth, JungKook said "I'm grown up and my own man" in a more courageous way when he got his body art and piercings way back in 2020 (or 2021?). Considering how K-pop and K-entertainment strongly censured things like tattoos and piercings, that is a very brave move indeed. He broke that particular path and Jimin followed his example, getting his own beautiful tattoos. Of course, all the members got their "7" tattoos after declaring their hiatus in June 2022.
