I bought the holy stone hs720e I’ve had it for two weeks now and I haven’t even turned it on I charged the batteries but I’m scared to fly the damn thing I had to register it with the faa no biggie but the first drone I had I lost the damn thing it was a cheap one eachine 58 I think but still when I list I cam home with the control in hand but no drone felt like I lost a kid lol..love your hat I had a couple of Santa Cruz skate board Corey o brain and Jeff Kendall great video have fun

Well I’m going to have one next week. But if you look at the mjx bugs 7 7b videos, that drone is basically the same thing. But sometimes when company’s buy rights to a certain drone, they sometimes change a few things. So hopefully I can get the video together by Monday or Tuesday of next week. I just purchased the HS510 and really like it. I was wondering though... is it actually FPV that you can use goggles with and how or am I missing something? I never have seen anything mentioned about goggles no matter where I looked. Thanks man and keep up the good work.
I think the had a vr goggle setting, I wouldn’t use vr goggles. The WiFi fpv is to slow with the delay, you could crash. Thanks so much for stopping by.
I usually see that happen if the phone does not support duel band 2.4ghz & 5.8ghz WiFi . Without being right there it’s hard to tell. If you can try another phone that’s 5.8ghz WiFi Compatible and you could see if it’s your mobile device or the drone that’s the problem. Thanks for watching I wish I could help more.
There is no difference between the Holy Stone Hs720 controllers they are the same the drones are almost the same longer flight time with hs720 I can move my gimbal 3 camera can you please compare the two

Just got the exact same one. Opened the box charged the battery completely plugged it into the drone and the transmitter says the drone has no power. The drone flashes a yellow light rapidly and it can do this for hours but it wont let me do anything. Any help would be more than appreciated.
My drone didn't come with the extra battery and I bought it directly from Amazon brand new Amazon told me to contact holy Stone and I did they never did send me the extra battery which is messed up. But other than that it's been a great drone so far I did have a small problem when I hit the home button the drone went really high started to go the opposite direction but then I realized I didn't have the GPS cut on when switched it on the Drone came back to me when I hit the home button
This is my first drone and already messed up the propellers with my first crash. (Also scraped up the sides of the frame that holds the motors which doesn't help either since I just bought the damn thing.) Does anyone know where to buy extra propellers from? I know amazon sells a few but someone said they didn't fit on the HS510 for whatever reason.

Thanks for watching, your phone needs to have 2.4ghz and 5.8ghz duel WiFi band. The drone puts out its own 5.8ghz (802.12ac) WiFi for your phone to connect too. So 4G or 5G phone service does not matter, it’s about your phone having that duel wifi band. You can ask your phone provider if your phone has this or you can google your phone model to check. I know that all iPhones from iPhone 5s to the latest model has duel band WiFi. I don’t know much about android, I know the latest Samsung galaxies have the duel wifi bands.
Ever had an issue where you launch the drone and after about 15 seconds, the drone turns 180 and faces you and you lose all yaw capability? Then after 15 seconds you get it back. Then it happens again and again?
Hows this compare to the HS165 i just bought? I see a few differences. some better some worse. should i return the HS165 and buy this? It's about the same price.
Thanks for watching and that’s a tuff one. There both good drones, I liked the hs165. It worked really well. The hs510 camera seemed not as good as the hs165, it was putting out a yellowish tint to it. So I need a few more flights with the hs510 to really know.

Did my first solo today... Very impressed. But I am having a problem with the ophelia go app as it says not connected and I have to turn the drone off and on and connect my phones WiFi to the drone a few times before it connects... Annoying. Also I charged my battery full and only got about 6 minutes. What gives?
Try uninstalling the app and reinstall it again. Also I put my phone in airplane mode first then connect the WiFi to the drone, that way only the drone app is running and not all your other apps. For the battery I’m not sure, may have to contact Amazon to return it. Thanks for watching
I show that in both videos. As long as you do the correct gps compass calibration, having that gps switch in the on position. Then you will have the gps on
I mentioned in the video at the beginning, there is no gimble or motorized camera adjustment. Did you watch the video? 😂 Just playing with ya. Unfortunately the camera is manual adjustment and it can only adjust to about 90° by hand. They should of at least added a 1 axis gimble. Thanks for watching and be safe out there.
Make sure you don’t have your phone or any metal close to it while you’re calibrating the GPS. Also, try a different area there might be too much interference with the earths magnetic interference . It happens or rich soil’s in minerals interrupts the GPS as well. I know it’s a pain, until you’re able to get a professional drone all these drones will have a lot of problems like that. I hope your able to return it if that does not work. I hope this is helpful and I apologize I’ve been very ill . Take care and God Bless

I’ve had this drone since September 2020; it’s easy to fly and has many features for the price but I wouldn’t buy it again. 1. Screw propellers are a bad idea in anything that vibrates and turns. I’m on my fifth set of props and screws - they seem to fly off easily. 2. The camera sensor has trouble with high contrast; bright areas are washed out. 3. Without multiple gimbals, every little vibration shows up in the video - it’s very shaky.
Holy Stone will always have a place in my heart. My 1st beginner. It's still in a pine tree 90 feet up more than 2 years later.

Go to settings and turn off all wifi, turn it back on while next to your drone

Thanks for watching, your phone needs to have 2.4ghz and 5.8ghz duel WiFi band. The drone puts out its own 5.8ghz (802.12ac) WiFi for your phone to connect too. So 4G or 5G phone service does not matter, it’s about your phone having that duel wifi band. You can ask your phone provider if your phone has this or you can google your phone model to check. I know that all iPhones from iPhone 5s to the latest model has duel band WiFi. I don’t know much about android, I know the latest Samsung galaxies have the duel wifi bands.
can the camera be moved up and down by the controller or app?

Ever had an issue where you launch the drone and after about 15 seconds, the drone turns 180 and faces you and you lose all yaw capability? Then after 15 seconds you get it back. Then it happens again and again?

Hows this compare to the HS165 i just bought? I see a few differences. some better some worse. should i return the HS165 and buy this? It's about the same price.
Thanks for watching and that’s a tuff one. There both good drones, I liked the hs165. It worked really well. The hs510 camera seemed not as good as the hs165, it was putting out a yellowish tint to it. So I need a few more flights with the hs510 to really know.
@@BIGDRONEFLYER77RC thanks, besides the camera's , what about how the 2 drones fly. controllers are different on both. which is better? flight times? you would think with brushless motors and larger batteries the HS510 would fly longer but that doesn't look to be the case? let us know more when you get more time on it.
The hs510 will last longer and is faster with the brushless motors. I would get the hs510 over the hs165

Did my first solo today... Very impressed. But I am having a problem with the ophelia go app as it says not connected and I have to turn the drone off and on and connect my phones WiFi to the drone a few times before it connects... Annoying. Also I charged my battery full and only got about 6 minutes. What gives?
Try uninstalling the app and reinstall it again. Also I put my phone in airplane mode first then connect the WiFi to the drone, that way only the drone app is running and not all your other apps. For the battery I’m not sure, may have to contact Amazon to return it. Thanks for watching

If I may ask, how can you tell if the drone is in GPS mode? On my controller, the GPS is in the on position -
I show that in both videos. As long as you do the correct gps compass calibration, having that gps switch in the on position. Then you will have the gps on

You can check your phone on google search. All iPhones from 5s and newer has both 2.4g and 5g WiFi. Not sure about android.
How do you calibrate the app and the camera?
There is no calibration for the app and the camera. There is only Gyro calibration and GPS compass calibration.
Does this have a remote movement camera
I mentioned in the video at the beginning, there is no gimble or motorized camera adjustment. Did you watch the video? 😂 Just playing with ya. Unfortunately the camera is manual adjustment and it can only adjust to about 90° by hand. They should of at least added a 1 axis gimble. Thanks for watching and be safe out there.

I can't stop the hs510 from toilet bowling. I calibrate properly each time and no luck. When I turn off gps it works as it should. Any advice?
Make sure you don’t have your phone or any metal close to it while you’re calibrating the GPS. Also, try a different area there might be too much interference with the earths magnetic interference . It happens or rich soil’s in minerals interrupts the GPS as well. I know it’s a pain, until you’re able to get a professional drone all these drones will have a lot of problems like that. I’ve had this drone since September 2020; it’s easy to fly and has many features for the price but I wouldn’t buy it again.
1. Screw propellers are a bad idea in anything that vibrates and turns. I’m on my fifth set of props and screws - they seem to fly off easily.
2. The camera sensor has trouble with high contrast; bright areas are washed out.
3. Without multiple gimbals, every little vibration shows up in the video - it’s very shaky.
