Thank you so much for this content! I am the husband of my wife with LS. This has been an incredible challenge because my wife already has stage 4 Cirrhosis, Splenomegaly, Hasimoto's Hypothyroidism & type 2 diabetes. Also struggled with Hypatac encephalopathy, H.E., but she has received a good scope since then. I am grateful 🙏 for all information to help.

I am one of those 10% of LS sufferers who happens to be male.
put it this way, if i were born to a observant religious Jewish family i would have been circumcised at birth and this condition would never have arisen
my condition causes chronic and almost unending pain and any touch of the aforementioned skin aggravates it into agony, and such it has been for 5 years when i had to take really retirement as i could not stand on my feet to do a day's work and even siting upright at a desk is painful
so it seems that marital intimacy is out of the question for me even if i had a partner or wife
not meaning to pry but do any women have it this painful, or is it down to the male architecture being different???
and are there any men here who suffer this condition who can offer feedback?
do you men have virtually endless pain verging on agony?

So sorry you're suffering like this. Yes unfortunately there are some that are in constant pain. Would getting a circumcision help your condition?

@@LichenSclerosusPodcast it seems not. it has been so long that the brain has rewired, so they tell me, and i would still be afflicted with phantom pain
