Has anyone ever thought of just flying a giant cube of drones and changing the 3D volume to display visual info? Essentially a giant TV with pixels, but in 3D as a volume? It would allow high frame rates. Certainly faster than moving them all the time.
Imagine using drones to give some uncontacted tribe in the Amazon rainforest a "religious" experience. Find out what they worship and create it in the sky using drones...
I always wondered what would happen if we did a drone show for one of these uncontacted tribes people. like imagine we did a drone show while blasting fireworks, and surround the island with some epic ass lord of the rings music. I'm starting to think that the people who says its impossible to contact these people, just haven't tried hard enough.
