Reading the comments and watching the interview... I think Meera was fine. She behaved like any other normal wife would do. Very spontaneous and chill with her husband throughout the interview ...even though it is in front of the camera. The audience are the ones who are making a fuss about it by being too opinionated.

Being apologetic whenever the need is to be, shows humility. Otherwise it is an uncaring attitude. May be one hasn't done it at all in times past when younger. It is not there in the person's nature to do it. Humility builds character. Mira has already been an actress so she knows the way that industry works, the hours spent on sets, the odd timings..... Motherhood and being wife is totally different as it involves greater responsibility, making adjustments, giving and receiving 100% not 50/50. It is all about enjoying this chosen journey and evolve.
