Such a nice story thank you.. Life sometimes goes in circles and we are the stopping post for it to continue until it stops once more/ may you have a lifetime of happy memories for ever now.. nice old truck too, thank you for the video. Ian -- UK.
Congrats on finding your grandpa's truck. My Grandpa had one similar but with a dump bed. And I have similar memories of he and I in it, as he let me jabber at the truckers with the CB. Enjoy it man :)
I pulled a 1966 dodge one ton dump truck out of a farm this past fall and it fit about the same way... Truck was about the same size/length and my trailer is also a 20' 10k# trailer. Then you used the tractor loader to unload the truck and I laughed as I did the exact same thing. I felt like I was watching some kind of parallel universe or something.
Haha I was wondering if someone would comment on that. My big trailer is down for a rebuild, I measured about 3 times to be sure! I'll work on that video next, I don't have much variation on footage so it shouldn't take long to stick something together. The Northwest is definitely cool, you guys are a bad influence haha. We'll see.
Been looking awhile for one of these ones near me with a 283 V8, Flatbed... C60 1964 i think... But it's Michigan & well rust, plus who knows about the brakes being stuck etc.
Tador Machines I grew up on a 25 with a Murphy diesel. If I had room I would have one. I hate seeing them sit like that, I have a soft spot for them. You did such a great job with that 15B that Cat Diesel would be easy to get goin. That machine would have a D318 in it
@@UnitCrane514 that's awesome! It is sitting, but it's sentimental to him so I know it won't become a Kia. Once I get caught up on projects, might see about it. Thanks man! Still working on it, but the ol' girl should get better each year.
Very glad to see a piece of family history rescued! Thanks for taking the time to video, was neat to see the old girl bobbing along behind
Sure glad you got the Ol Gal back home. You are most assurdly attached to the truck.
Have fun and stay blessed.

No kidding?! That's awesome man, and thank you!
@@RustyRescues Yeah! It was a dark green with the dump bed orange and it was LOUD!

Haha that is fantastic, ya' gotta' do what ya' gotta' do eh!

Those old Chevy trucks rugged trucks. I went to a summer camp and and the camp had one about that same vintage.
Too bad I could hear the music, nothing that he was saying !!!
A ford pulling a Chevy, you sure don't see that too often!
This truck has a 5000 pound front axle with a 15000 rear axle.
The weight of this truck is around 8500 pounds as is.
You see so many old trucks sitting derelict when you travel through the farm country of Washington and Idaho.
Excellent
That’s a really nice Northwest 25 sitting next to it! Gonna buy that too???
He offered it, but not just yet; I know it's safe where it is. It has a Cat in it, he drove it to where it sits. It's configured as a crane unit.

That’s a sweet looking truck, I would like to own that in a semi tractor version or a live tandem dump truck.
omg loose the music would make it better
Never mind the history........and the music!!
I don't know what's wrong with people saying they can hear mostly music I hear him just fine
'65 Chevy restoration pt1: cleaning the black smoke from the windshield!
Haha!
That's what I like to see...a ford pulling a Chevy.😜
Turn the bloody music off. We are here to see the machines not to listen to your idea of entertainment.
Can't please everyone! Thanks for watching
@@RustyRescues I don't mind the music but playing it at the same level as the talk makes it difficult, for me, to hear your voice.
@@RustyRescues Music is fine. Just a bit loud.
