- Franny and Winter are getting adopted! I'll be taking them to their new home tomorrow night 🌙
You can go follow them at their new home on Facebook Fox Tales!
We have a maximum capacity of foxes we are able to have here at saveafox, in order to save more foxes the ones we have here need to be adopted to qualified homes!

In order to adopt a fox you must pass this application:

Some of our basic requirements are:
Live in the USA
Live in a legal city and state
Follow all your city and state ownership rules
General fox care knowledge
100 sq/ft or larger fox proof cage (examples can be provided)
A vet that will see foxes
Over the age of 21
All foxes are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccine and health checked before adopting.
Fox adoption fee is usually 500$ for single or 800$ for bonded pairs
Transportation can be arranged, but pick up is always preferred.
please also refer to the legality map attached. While it is a good reference laws change often and so some information could be incorect. Contact your state DNR for more detailed info on laws regarding fox ownership.

FINNEGAN WON'T BE PUT UP FOR ADOPTION. THEY ARE KEEPING HIM PERMANENTLY THEY HAVE SAID.
Finnegan is Mikayla's fox, so yes, he'll always be staying at SaveAFox. It's the same with Kipper, he's being raised as an ambassador/educational fox, so he can go to classrooms and events to teach people more about foxes.
Dixie is a permanent fox as well

Oh, for a moment my heart stopped. I thought something had happened to the babies. I am so happy their have found furever families. Thank you for loving them and doing this work, you truly are a blessing.
They look really bonded to each other so I'm glad that Winter and Francesca will be adopted. I think both to the same home? That would be nice for them. I feel a bit sorry for Esme though. Maybe she will find some new fox friends to get along with until she gets adopted as well.

Yes, Mikayla said SAF checks all documents on that.
It seems like she does a really thorough background check which is good. Makes sure it’s legal in the state and that they have an outdoor area to play and that they are educated.
