    Wow, usually people with speech impediment are so stressed out that they generally look like shit. But you are so pretty, you can literally smile out of any situation 😁😁

    Hey Tea, I tried you techniques while I was at work. I work at In N Out and I am always on pay window in the mornings. In the mornings we take orders from the speaker, and I tend to stutter when saying "Hey how are you, What can I get for you today" its mostly on What and for you. I tried this on the weekend and it really did seem to reduced my stutter dramatically which I was very proud of. Thank you so much for sharing your tips with us. You always make me feel better when I am having a really bad stuttering day. I hope everything goes well with your placement.!

    Great insights on stuttering Téa! I fully agree as well that stuttering can largely be reduced as you grow in confidence. I like the speaking with a rhythm method as well, that method has helped reduce my stutter as well. Great work!

    There is a method called smooth speech it's basically singing what you speak which is some what similar to your technique.

    I was right! Tea said, "On first impression, I didn't want to show that I stuttered in front of the people". That was my whole point from the previous video that I commented. People, you do NOT want to show or announced your speech problem when meeting or talking especially with strangers. It is NOT ok telling people that you have stuttering issue. That tells people you're a handicap and have low self-esteem. Just be yourself. You don't want them feel sorry or treat you differently. You have to be equal footing with them. Be confident. Have some respect for yourself. Build your self-esteem and be strong. Stand your ground, no one will help you, but yourself. Have some dignity. It is a cruel world out there for us but you have to fight and get through it. Remember, no one will help you. You got to help yourself.

    I saw your other channel, you dont seem to stutter in those videos like here, is there a particular reason for that?

    Roddy Rod, as a stutterer I can say what Steve Harvey said about stuttering, in the video you're referencing ,is simplistic to say the least. His technique of saying what you want to say 3 times to yourself may work for him but it may not work for everyone. Marilyn Monroe did her famous sexy voice to combat stuttering. James Earl Jones has his iconic booming baritone voice to keep his stuttering at bay. Different things work for different people. His heart is in the right place because he knows the struggle. But inevitably his conviction that stuttering is curable by his technique or any one technique is ill-advised in my opinion.

    I'm not sure if you have done this but please look at the recent video of Steve Harvey addressing stuttering. He basically says it's all just in your head. I'm not sure if I agree.

      It’s a result of self talk & fear of what man thinks about U along with being anxious in public speaking situations - As Tea’ said PWS do not block when singing or reading to themselves - That in itself is evidence that it is more psychological than it is neurological or anything of a physical nature 🤠

      @@rhi3698 thanks for support it just happened that today I had to do a public talk in class and I totally messed up well for some reason I was so anxious but what suprises me is instead of feeling bad for that I was feeling okay in front of the whole class and I just considered it like something that happens every time in someone's life and now just moving on

    Hi. Why don’t you say how can I help you instead of what can I get you.

    • @glenn4612
      @glenn4612 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      For fast food drive-thru, it makes sense to say 'what can I get you', referring to what food do the customers want. 'how can I help you' is more used in setting such as a grocery, convenient store etc. But I guess both can be used in either situation.
