The clear difference between ramsdele and raya I think is that in the corner situation. I am less worried when opposition team has a corner kick because I am sure raya will catch the ball and also his passing after that catching is always create havoc to oposition defence.

Last weekend, when Ramsdale played, i thought "now i know why we brought Raya". Aaron has a sort of urge in his game, too excited. And he's ether excellent, or impredictable in mistakes. Does hero performance and then foot mistake by taking too much risks.
We need a consistent very good, not a top inconsistent. Defenders prefers a consistent, serious and predictible guy. And when i saw Ramsdale laughing at the end against brentford, i thought "this summer Arteta will clean again"...

and where are those fantastic saves? Fantastic distribution and good cross claiming, yes, but fantastic saves? Don't get me wrong, is a good keeper and given the way arteta wants arsenal to play, I see the reason why he is the starter, but raya doesn't do "fantastic saves".

To be honest... arsenal defence made sure that doesn't happen.
The defence absorbed most of the attacks leaving raya with boring but not a less important saves.
I say arsenal defence is like 60% or 40% of the reason why he won golden gloves in his first season with arsenal.
