As a new Supercars fan from America, I find your videos very informational and easy to understand. You’ve made me like the sport even more and I’m looking forward to more content in the future. As (I’m assuming) Aussies say, cheers mate.
@@doubleDNF thanks mate! I really appreciate comments like this, it's always awesome to see new people get into Supercars. Hope you enjoy this year's Bathurst!
I hope either one of the MSR pairs wins I've been watching the Great Race since 1970 Showing my age now aren't I . Anyway great informative video thankyou.
It would be an awesome result to see an underdog like them win. Thanks for the support and congrats on your dedication to the Great Race, that's quite the watching streak!
As is the case every year, I am SUPER excited (and i'm talking BIG KEV levels) for Bathurst Sunday. The few days leading up to the broadcast will see me up a ladder, trimming the trees so the satellite dish brings in uninterrupted coverage of the entire 4 days from the Mountain. Nothing gets done in the days preceding as I find myself on the couch but, On Bathurst Sunday, the wife takes the dog out for the day, so there are no distractions for 1000klms of Supercars Christmas. Don't email, don't write, don't phone. And definitely don't visit. Rejection will be rude and unceremonious. Possibly even injurious. As far as my wishes go, as is always the case these days, I'm looking for a Will Brown top step, followed by a Craig Lowndes 2nd and a Broc Feeney 3rd. As much as I'd love another 2 or 3 CL wins, I think he's beyond it now. And even a podium unlikely, so let's elevate BF up to second. As we ALWAYS say, at the end of the day, The Mountain will decide next Sunday.
Haha I'm very similar! I get hyped by watching all the Bathurst intros from previous years...I can recite some of Larko's intros word for word 😂 Nothing better than waking up on Bathurst Sunday!
@FanAtTheFence @FanAtTheFence Larko's "This is Mount Panorama, This is Bathurst" will always be my favourite. I call him Professor Larko. He has an depth of knowledge that it incredible but has the art of explaining some of the most mind boggling difficult concepts the way a person on the street, even someone who has never heard of Supercars, can understand them. And, like the drivers, like the teams, Larko seems to lift his game when he's at The Mountain.
@@tommomahan5546 - It's been reported (although I don't think officially confirmed) that it's to test the new 2025 tyre compound - hope this story helps: www.v8sleuth.com.au/bathurst-test-for-supercars-prototype-tyre/
I have just watched this review on TV and noted that of all the drivers the only driver you did not talk about was Aaron Cameron?? As someone that has followed him since he started racing and you would/Should have had plenty to say about him, why didn't you!!
Yeah sorry mate that's an honest mistake on my part. I don't go into detail about every driver but I planned to say their names at the very least. Didn't mean to overlook him, hope he has a good weekend!
Hey Stu what best way to contact you? I might be able to arrange for you to borrow my HD Zero Goggles to test HDZero. Also looks like I killed my HD Zero YMZFPV Lightning 2.
Thanks for the support everyone! For my full Bathurst Preview, check out this video next: th-cam.com/video/JK_XOn5JZEw/w-d-xo.html

Really great video, thank you for uploading this, big respect from the UK
Thanks Keith! Hope you enjoy the action
I want either courtney, winterbottom or bjr to win this year, would be a real feel good story
Any of those would be magic!
Can’t see any of them in the top five

@@petermiddo He's such an asset to the sport. That's my favourite intro too
Mostert was quick over top in 500 with tweeks should be quicker up and down mountain...
He sure was, only a whisker away from the Bulls at the 500. Hope he puts up a good fight this weekend
Only if the engine tweak has worked if it hasn’t the stings might as well go home
@@Grant80 They matched both cars on AVL so should be closer others set-ups were faster on the straights not across top...
Yeah Allan Moffat drove touring cars
Stanaway is going to premi racing
Yeah I saw those reports after recording this one, hope he lands the drive 🙂
Great update, thanks.
Noticed that on Friday the Supercars have a ‘test session’, can you explain?

Allan Moffat never raced in Supercars....
Well ATCC as it was back then :)
A bit hard mate... Didn't exist then .. but the ATCC was just as good if not better...
Can’t see anyone beating the bulls unfortunately hope the stangs upgrade has worked.
They'll be hard to beat for sure. Let's see what the Mountain throws at the field this year though!
