I read somewhere that he originally wanted to join a band (that's why he auditioned at FNC). Fortunately, FNC discovered his singing and dancing talents. Even he became a musican, he would still shine no matter what. I wish he could give us more of his guitar performance in future SF9 concerts.
It's true but the story is a bit different. He used to play guitar in a band when he was in middle high. So he auditioned FNC as a guitarist at first but he couldn't pass the auditions. Then he fell in love with Exo (especially Kai) and started to learn dancing. After a few years he auditioned again with his dancing and singing skills and finally passed the auditions.
