All stories narrated in the Quran is true as Allah that knows everything, present, past and future is the the narrator that tells the story to the Prophet SAW
This is a story of previous nations, meaning it's factual. I don't know whether the young man was a prophet or not. But in Islam, there's another type of miracles that Allah gave to His extremely pious servants like the companions of Rasulullah SAW called "karamah". This type of miracle still happen until today. Some of them we witness ourselves from our brothers and sisters in Gaza. Free Palestine. 🍉🍉🍉
One of my favorite Quran stories, and I remember memorizing the Surah that mentions them without understanding the story behind the verses until recent years 🤯
Brother. Having a tough life and many trials doesn't mean that Allah swt is hating you but having these tough times is a purification to your soul from sins and wordly matters. Tough times teach wisdom. Patience. Returning to Allah swt. Doing good.
Brother. Having a tough life and many trials diesn't mean that Allah swt is hating you but having these tough times is a purification to your soul from sins and wordly matters. Tough times teach wisdom. Patience. Returning to Allah swt. Doing good.
Story feels like it happened from among the people of the Maya civilization or something closer, or even in the South of Asia. Only Allah knows. May Allah have mercy on our brothers and sisters of the people of the ditch, as well as all of those who came before us and said "we believed in Allah the Only God".
I'm taking a wild guess but I wouldn't be surprised if the ruler alluded to in the hadith mentioned here was a Roman because, from everything I've ever read growing up, the Romans were among the most cruel and oppressive leaders - then again, so were the ancient Egyptians etc. At the end of the day, Allah knows best who these folks were. The lesson to be learned is for Muslims of any time and location to stay firm on the deen because indeed we will be tested in various ways. Look at us today - the Zionists commit atrocities against us (case in point = Gaza) as do the Hindus in India, as does the US and its allies no matter where Muslims are. Look at what's happening to the Rohingya Muslims, etc. We are the weakest that we probably have ever been, especially since the fall of the caliphate a century ago. It is truly so sad. Allah is the best of planners, though. We will have victory again. History has shown us Muslims that. The truth never dies and our time will come again, insh'Allah soon 💪🤲☝️🕋
Brother its happening right now that story look killing of people in Palestine and Gaza world watching asking questions and a lot of them reverts to Islam ALLAH AKBAR
Indeed they're going through death, destruction and humiliation for 77 years straight. But in terms gruesome and nästy to'ture and death, I would say in recent years its the Syrians and Rohingya that are going through these exact things that's happening in this story.
Brother you HAVE to watch the movie "The Message" if you have not already seen it. It is a historically accurate film recounting the events before and after the beginning of Islam in Mecca, and you will learn so many important things from it. I reaaally enjoyed it.
It was like a genocide and every time i recite surah buruj “Destroyed were the People of the Trench. The fire supplied with fuel. While they sat around it.And were witnessing what they did to the believers. They begrudged them only because they believed in God the Almighty, the Praiseworthy.” i relate it with the genocide going on rn in different parts of the world
This story was intended to give patience and strength to the Companions, may God be pleased with them, when they were severely tortured at the beginning of Islam in Mecca which we will see inshaallah in the story of the Prohpet PBAH.
May Allah reward you and us. I strongly suggest that you choose the most detailed serieses of prophet Muhammad PBAH as his life is filled with documented fascinating stories, events and characters.
dear muslim brothers dont be sad for the thousand and thousand and thousand of CHILDREN OF GAZA ,they are in janna , and by there pure blood , many are guiden the islam and accepting islam a hard prce , but ALLAH IS THE MOST WISE MOST MERCIFUL
Salam alaikoum brother, This story is about historical events that happened that Allah tells about in the Qur'an. The Qur'an is very consise and Eloquent and so some stories are told without unimportant details and its Prophet Muhammad SAW who tells us the full stories in more detail through the hadiths. Remember the Qur'an tells us that Anything the prophet says is not of his own accord but revelation. So Gabriel would have relayed this story to Muhammed SAW (outside of Quranic revelation).
Allah tests those he loves more cause he wants them to reach stations that they would otherwise not have reached it they did not receive and pass the test given. He wants his beloveds close to him and once calamities, difficulties, illness, troubles he hold on to Him he elevate us to stations close to him.
@TexasLove this is factual story much before the time of the Messenger Muhamad (peace be upon him) and possible after the time of Isa (Jesus, peace be upon him)
28:30 Brother may Allah make it easy for you, may He ease for you all your matters in this world and the next, ameen. You know the difficult streaks are a test, but the easy streaks are also a test. Because when we have ease we forget Allah more easily. Difficulties are better in a way because it makes us remember Allah more, which is the point of life anyway. But still Prophet Muhammad ﷺ forbade us from seeking out difficulties deliberately, instrad we ask Allah to remove us from difficulties and we seek ease. We engage in remembrance of Allah whether we have pain or comfort, in all circumstances 😇🌷That's the way to have peace, to not let the dunya entrance you with its attractions
PS. We learn so much from you. When you mentioned difficulties you were laughing about it, not bitter but you were smiling SubhanAllah. By Allah, that is a teaching of the Prophet ﷺ I need to practice much more. May Allah reward you with firm eman ☺️
Islamic scholars have stated that the tyrannical king was a Jewish king in Yemen who persecuted Christians and this was in the 500s before prophet Muhammad saws . Keep up the great work inshallah
Not disagreeing. But werent Kristians already polytheist by the early 6th century? Moreover in the 90's animated movie "The Boy and The King" it shows ancient mesopotamian aesthestic and that the boy goes to the city of Kish wich existed in ancient Iraq. Wich makes more sense considering the Assyrians were extremely gruesome with their x cutions, those Assyrian kings were humanly deprived.
It doesn't matter who or where they were. That has no effect upon us. If Allah didn't tell us and it is relating to iman, we don't need to know. Just like we don't need to know Ashab al Kahf were 5 or 7 or 9 in all. Wallahu aalam 🌷
And last but not least. It takes time during an era where its all about magic. During the antiquity it was all about medicine and science. But during the bronze age it was all about magic, and the city of Kish was created during the first Babylonian era when magic was ALSO brought down by Harut and Marut from Allah(Marut became worshipped by the locals and was called Marutu by the locals, which thousands of years later became "Marduk").
This hadith explains the reasons for burning the believers in the story of the people of the trench, which happened in the Najran region - in southern Saudi Arabia today, and the king was a Jew ruling the region and the monk and the boy learned the first Christianity which was monotheistic according to the religion of Jesus peace be upon him before it was corrupted. The story does not contain any evidence of prophecy, but there is evidence of miracles and blessings at the hands of the righteous through supplication.
This story brother happened in the south part of Saudia Arabia in Najran city, and the name of the king at that time was Yousef Nonwaase I think, I think but I am not sure they were cristians before the ruling of that king because the story happened between prophet jesues and prophet Mohammad time pease be upon them
I bet you ,Texas love, you won't find anything better than this journey you have been on,in the future. No other journey will match the journey you have been on with Islam. 23:23
May Allah help our brothers and sisters in Palestine❤🤲
Ameen
It's a real story that actually happened. It's mentioned in the Qur'an (Surah Al-Buruj/Surah 85) and in authentic Hadith.
All stories narrated in the Quran is true as Allah that knows everything, present, past and future is the the narrator that tells the story to the Prophet SAW
See this story in Qur'an in surah Al Buruuj ( no 85)
The stronger one's faith is, the harder the tests, and the greater the rewards, inshaallah

the boy wasn't a prophet but he was a true believer, and the beast he killed it was a tiger or a lion ( if i remember correctly )
Those that aren't prophets but can perform supernatural things are said to have karamah (if they're Muslims)
