Thank you very much! 8K is working, but it only shows up, if youtube detects the correct minimum specs of your display. Its the same thing with HDR, the HDR versions only show up if you have a HDR-Monitor. On my Macbook 16" (M1) with slightly less resolution then full 4k, the 8k Version is also available. If I click the gear-button, then "4320p60 HDR 8K" is available. On my non HDR Monitor only 4K is available. If you are a TH-camr looking to experiment with 8K on TH-cam, I recommend you to first upload short 8k videos of less than 1 minute to test it out. On my small TH-cam channel (maybe TH-cam gives me less processing power), it takes about a week for TH-cam to render the 8k versions (for one hour of video).
