  • 5 months of trail camera action from Big Cypress National Preserve in southwest Florida. This camera was out for 5 months. I've been putting a camera on this trial for 5 years and I am amazed at the amount of activity that I consistently get.

Never having used a trail cam th-cam.com/users/postUgkx2sTDdZXomuxedMg_HothfjSXjR3rpPkA before, I was very impressed with the quality of the images and videos. The sensitivity of the camera can be adjusted as well as the length of video recordings. Once I found the sweet spot, I was getting great clips of deer and other animals almost every day. I was worried about battery life but have been running off the same 4 aa batteries for over a month. The SD card is easy to remove and connect to a computer. I have a Mac, and the AVI files open natively in QuickTime and are easy to save and share. This is a great, budget-friendly trail cam.

What the heck! That’s thumbs down is freedom of speech. I am glad u gave them a raspberry along with a thumbs dwn. It’s deserved. Sounds like they r as touchy as an over ripe tomato. How dare they get their knickers in a twist. We support you 100%. Don’t let them chest puff on you. Your work means a lot to us. They should back off…way off.

Tim I think they should pay you for all your work. There is no telling how many people watch your videos and decide to come down there for their vacation. You are making them money. But love your videos your nature shots mean a lot to us old folks who cannot get out and explore any more. Thank You. Be safe young man.

I was wondering where you were! Boy am I glad to see you back. We love your videos and have truly missed you. I remain confused as to why the parks people would object to you making these videos when all they do is enhance the park experience and could only increase the interest, which would increase the money they take in from visits. I will say that the "thumbs down" gesture you made at the no trailcam sign was vicious. Crime of the century. Since we all agree with YOU on that issue, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth to know that they had a deputy call you about it. I used to think well of them because of you. Now, I don't like them at all. Tim, you keep up the good work and be careful, dear!

On such a smaller scale, I have a similar fear. Back in High School I worked at a gas station. After closing I opened the dumpster to toss the trash into and Suddenly, a 200 pound raccoon jumped out, landed on my foot and ran off. I stood there frozen then ran screaming to my car. Once I was able to breathe my spirit back into me I decided that the raccoon was probably much smaller then it seemed. Now I am unable to see a raccoon without the fear and I have never approached a dumpster in the dark after that. I know, this isn’t near the danger level of a gater but I absolutely understand the situation.
Love all your videos and your photos are absolutely stunning. I hope you stay safe as we eagerly await your next video.
    Take care, Tim.

Good night Tim, greetings from Brazil. I'm glad you're okay. I started setting up a trail camera a little over a year ago, I really like it. I'm worried, in 2022 my cameras recorded 14 cougars, I'm afraid to find them in the wild. Tim, with so many bears and cougars in your area, I recommend bringing at least some pepper spray. I bring pepper spray and a farm fork. Regards, Erik.

Yay!! Tim’s back with his style of game camera videos. I think you unknowingly foreshadowed the first clip when you said “good luck. Hope you don’t get eaten by a bear.” Then a bear mouths your camera!!😅

Been wondering where you have been. That was a nice spread of diversity of swamp critters this set. Love the twilight shots in IR where the background foliage show up so beautifully. Park Service Rules over stretching with camera rules of sorts. Wanting money from photographers, no pictures here, no drones in extremely remote areas far from any other people. Like Alaska for instance you can be hundreds of miles from the nearest person and still no drone, but the parks people use them. Alaska is the largest state with the most parks lands and just about fewest people of any state with the most restricted air space for no good reason. I like the galaxy shot with the limestone hole. Nice clean shot of Andromeda, mine is tiny.

Nice to see you again Tim. You Tube ,and the people such as yourself who use it to present quality entertainment is, after all, a relatively new format. Your photography is wonderful, but in my opinion, it is you that make watching these videos so enjoyable. It's hard work. But,
you have a calm, often humorous, laid back style of capturing your subjects. (Except for when you step on a sleeping alligator!)You speak intelligently, don't use foul language, and the videos are mostly about the animals, with just the right amount of interaction from yourself. You know what you are talking about regarding the natural surroundings. I can't get out and do what I once did so I find myself relying on individuals such as yourself to help keep me in touch with the outdoors. No matter what type of photography you engage in, keep yourself in the videos somehow. You display a natural talent and I thank you for your efforts.

Tim you're so much nicer (to your credit) than I would have been towards those government people, who are paid off the sweat of my back. I wouldn't care what they think of a thumbs down to their goofy little signs and additionally, they have no right to take action one way or another because of how I might choose to deploy my freedom of expression. So, pound sand, FWC. Anyway, water under the bridge I know.
This is yet another great video on the awesome outdoors that Florida provides, despite the reckless roadblocks FWC throws in your way.
