D-Boy, yes I know exactly what Memorex was! But no, it was the last part of a really recent public livestream. I remember the chat so well, where dreamers were saying "OMG, this might be better than the recording!". I was one of those that was so awed that I was frozen on the keys! My favorite part, and you can call me weird was Irene ad-libbing saying "c'mon!"! Yes I was there in the desert with them, but it was for just the choreo for just a couple of scenes/parts of the song. And because we dreamers were at "base camp", we didn't get to see all of the poses they did. But obviously I never felt shorted once I saw the final product! Those rocks illuminated were powered by Pat Devera's reserve power generator he had bought just a couple of days before. I distinctly remember that 2 of us had to carry it because it was so heavy. I remember the full moon rising completely unexpectedly behind them and adding magic to an already perfect scene. I remember being the human wind shield for the hairdresser struggling to curl Almira's hair in those 30 mph gusts out there, and finally, although it has yet to come to light, afterward everything was filmed, the ladies urging us three Dreamers to pose with them, in a perfect 3 of us between four of them! Ah, I know too much writing here. Just wait until the WISH Bus video comes out.
Thank you Gary for giving us the glimpse of these memories you have. You always have great real life stories that make all the dreamers jealous of your closeness to the sisters. One thing I want to know is...are they coming back to the USA ???...With everything that has happened to them and with all the money they have expended I wonder if they are close to giving up on the USA.@@gary_asano
They are the same or better live than in the studio. I had to check to make sure they were actually singing. 2nd time I've had to do this on a live performance of theirs. Karen Carpenter used to get accused of lipsynking to a track but it was proved she didn't. She was just extremely accurate pitch-wise. 4th Impact is too.
They sound just as good singing it live compared to their music video. But we all expected this. pink Panther uploaded the interview with Miklos Malek by a radio station in Dubai, talking about the song "DISTORTED" sang by 4TH IMPACT. Great exposure for the girls.
