The original quick-release mount has the same problem of not clicking in immediately. The mount included with the camera clicks in right away as it doesn't have the rubber at the connector's base. However, the separately sold quick-release mount, similar to the Hepail, requires pressing down to connect properly due to the rubber protrusions it has.
