Just need proper technique, they bow too low and use their lower back which is so wrong. Get to the proper position and bend your knees then stand up, you shouldn't use your lower back to carry anything. And the person you are about to carry must be relaxed and not stiffing their bodies or they will be too heavy to carry.
I did that training from red cross... I'm 4'11 and weighs 39kgs (underweight) and my partner whom I'll be carrying is 5'2 tall and weighs 45kgs.. yes I carried her with all sorts of carrying technique and the damn trainer didn't really care that she's too heavy for me. They even heard a cracking sound when I lifted my partner from the ground. that was my back BTW😑
they'e not forced to come here. they themselves wanted to. and it's trainin for army. it has to be hard. i don no why it's hard fo u guys to understand this. in the real. situation armed forces should be able to carry injured people. they can't say. oh she/he is too heavy i can't lift her/him up :/
