you can take off from most of the bigger domes, just need to plan based on wind direction, there isnt any regular valley breeze as such . many of the take offs can be accessed from many different routes. I think you can see good take offs from the valley floor or when on other routes. Jebel Rum is a good start but often has back wind. its climb and fly heaven.

I love the UFO. Ive never flown the Sir Ed. Both i think are easy to fly and offer similar experience, they are quick to launch and much easier to ground handle than regular wings. They are very fun to fly and very stable in the air. The down side is that they are delicate and you dont go far so have to adjust your understanding of your glide compared to a regular wings.
great video guys…i fly the sir Edmund and it does fly phantastic, easy by its handling and its trim speed is a bit faster than my A-Glider even …..but yes the glide ratio is at about 1,8 instead 1,4 on the regular A Glider
