Hi bhaskar, sometimes its more cost effective to build the entire index again instead of the rearrangement. Which is why in lot of cases you will see that the team will 1st drop the index perform the data load and then recreate it. I hope this helps :)

You said IOT and regular table have Id as primary key. How oracle which know which is IOT and regular?
The syntax for the two is different, you have to use keyword organization index for IOT
