Join us as we embark on an exhilarating hiking adventure in Innsbruck, Austria. Today's journey takes us to the Seefelder Spitze, a 7 mile out and back trail with 3200 feet of elevation gain.
The steep climb made this 5 hour trek a bit challenging, but the 360-degree panoramas of the Austrian Alps, mountaintop sandwiches, & traditional Austrian desserts, made it all worth it.

As for transportation from Innsbruck - Go to the main Innsbruck train station (Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof) and find a kiosk for OBB.. Plug in the town Seefeld (Rosshütte) and there should be a few options, believe we took the S6. That should drop you off at the main trainstation in Seefeld which is then about a 20 minute walk to the start of the trail. (Just be mindful of the walk when planning your train ride home)

900ft? Seefeld village is at 1200 m. It’s 400m higher than Innsbruck.
It’s deceptive becuase it’s very flat. Most places at 1200m are in V shaped valleys.
Seefeld is in a coll where three valleys meet.
No wonder you were out of breath.
