Such a lovely and warm December visit with you Cia. I also bought an advent puzzle this year for the first time, we are enjoying it as well. I have several Christmas gifts to finish...and I am behind (as usual!) For the last several years I have gotten together with some knitting friends and making up advent calendars for each other with sock yarn/other small treats - we all knit scrappy socks and have a finished pair for Christmas.
Wishing you all the best for this season, Donna
Thank you so much for your visit here 🥰 wishing you a lovely holiday
Love the sweater you are wearing, Cia!. Such lovely (and ambitious!) advent plans you have =). I also start more projects when I am feeling stressed. We used to make an advent wreath of greenery each year when I was a child; with the 4 candles arranged in a circle within the wreath. To get us out of her hair each afternoon for a bit, my mom invented an "advent fairy" who would leave a note on the wreath each day directing my brother and I to a small gift hidden somewhere in the house.
Thank you so much for watching 🥰
My plans for december are to finish a sweater for my partner and a cardigan for my sister for christmas. I am on the second sleeve on both projects it will be finished in time hopefully 🤞🏽
The pretty bright colors against the warm brown of your sweater are so lovely. Very inspiring!
My projects: a cardigan sweater knit from yarn that I spun from three different Romney fleeces- silver grey, black and white (plant dyed yellow). This has been a long term project!! A little easy project: tube socks with afterthought toes, heels, and rib. A somewhat challenging project (for me, anyway) - an Elizabeth Zimmerman Baby Surprise Jacket. I've cast on but am not in a rush since the grand baby isn't due til March. Then there always is fiber to spin- on the top of that list is Wensleydale roving bought last October at our local fiber fair. And my flat bed knitter is so handy for gift and charity hats this time of year!
Sound like you have a lot of nice knitting plans 🥰
