I fail the string test. I dropped mine . You’re right , putting the bands on the holder is nerve recking and not to be taking lightly. Birds look great 👍🏼
I cleaned my nest boxes yesterday... Funny, each of the day to day task around the loft that you have gave warnings for- I think I have failed each. Dropping the bands is a different level of frustration. I love the individual breeding lofts. Looks great. I bet they give you more motivation each day to get out to the loft.
they sure do go through the minerals and grit. every day of breeding season i am regretting not buying more at the show when i could skip shipping fees! let this be a lesson to all of you, minerals are HEAVY- take full advantage of any shipping deals!
Whoa! Controversial statement of the day "birds do not have teeth". Fact checkers will be checking your statement momentarily. Babies all looking good 👍
@@RFRP 🤣 quit making me have to search "which birds have vestigial teeth?" That then leads down a rabbit hole and I have no plans to use that information in my day to day life.
@@jasonjordan9101.. No need too.. There are no modern day birds that have teeth. Some do, however, have jagged ridges along the edges of their beaks, but no actual teeth... The last bird known to have real teeth was the "Ichthyornis".. Follow me for more Ornithological advice! 😂
@@dirkvoges6218 Oh! I see. There is a heavy gauge wire front on the door. The plastic is just an interior curtain that keeps the birds from flying out when I open the door

😆 Come to think of it, I’m pretty sure there are a few modern day birds that still have remnant vestigial teeth. 😬
Thanks my friend!

You made me laugh today!
Ha! I’m glad! 🙂
Stay blessed. I raised pigeons when I was a kid . A lot of cleaning .love theme even now . Beautiful birds 🐦
@@icc64 thank you!
How big are your kickboxers reason I asked I got a small driveway and I want to get a couple of birds in
The individual breeding pens are 36" x 34" x 29". Good luck!
I let go of the string 😂😂
I’ve done it more than once!!
I would be afraid of rats or raccoons biting through the outside boxes.
Predators are always a risk. Notice that I put two layers of wire underneath for that very reason. the wire layers are separated by nearly 2 inches.
@@RFRP I meant the door, it just looked like tissue.
