    Hello if I connect a 230volt 50Hz ac fan to a 60Hz and I connect it again to a 50Hz which one will be drawing more current the 50Jz connection or the 60Hz connection.

    I have portable ac fan with 220v by 50hz it is possible to connect in 220v by 60hz if i increase voltage maybe it will affect the appliances tnx....

    What if the rated voltage of the motor is 400v only. So its not possible to operate the motor to 480v. The same thing it will damage your motor.

    Hi. Was good, but you lost me when started to discuss power factor. That section was not clearly presented and was confusing. Seemed disjointed from the rest of the presentation.

    Actually most of planet Earth is 50 Hz! I did research on this. Only North and Meso America has the largest use of 60 Hz. I am not Indian, but fromSwitzerland who also like the rest of Europe utilises 50 Hz.
