    Absolutly love watching you guys street ride with a few buddys ,love seeing your streets n citys n towns love watching you guys ride into sun set , im 46 but will always be a little boy in all ways ive just bought a 2020 fitbikeco prk ,gloss copper paint , chrome forks , i got the dealer to put a front brake on being old school i run my front brake lever on the right like a dirtbike and rear on the left , im not sure if i should use alloy or nylon pegs as lots of the grinds ill be doing are ruff surfaces so im thinking nylon may slide easyer , im getting back into bmx because i love it and for health as i move away from dirtbikes and its good for my grandkids , electric mini bikes have stopped them peddling so im hoping seeing pop at the park on his bmx and nan on her mtn bike riding with me to the prk will inspire them to pedal more , Alfredo your changing my life buddy please keep the videos coming and hope you never stop riding untill the very end

    for the 180 once you are in the air you turn the bike frame with the side of your leg??

      @chrismigs9772 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      While pulling the front end of the bike slightly turn it and pull your legs up (scoop the pedals) then push where direction you wanna spin

  • @sasproductions701
    @sasproductions701 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    i cant do manuals all the time, i think its down to my frame size with the back part being longer. my handle bars are in line with my forks. if i was to have my handle bars a bit forward i think that will help me get in to position. my bike is a WTP Volta 2010 and has a top tube 21" when dans camp says my size is 20". the bike apparently has 9t rear sprocket and 25t sprocket at the crank. im thinking of getting a bigger sprocket like 28t but then would i really have to change the rear sprocket to a 10t?

    • @YnGCorza
      @YnGCorza 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bar position is wherever feels comfortable to you preferably not too far forward or backwards although and when places say a bmx is 20" it usually means fork and wheel size not your TT and DT length which in your case is 21 20" is standard in bmx if u look at a cruiser it'll probably be listed as 22" or bigger due to forks needing to be larger and wheels being larger your chain stay length the end of your bike typically if its longer its easier to hold a manual and not loop out consistently but you may learn them quicker on a shorter rear

    • @YnGCorza
      @YnGCorza 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh and also you don't need a 10t rear driver for a 28t sprocket you want a larger one go for it👍

    are 180s easier with a coaster or no? because whenever i try to 180 with a cassette i can’t fakie out of them. i lean back and pedal backwards and i don’t go anywhere.

    • @talensw
      @talensw 7 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      don't think a coaster will make things any easier, i learned how to 180 on a cassette. Just try to get more speed and more momentum :D

    • @tonylanovaz6127
      @tonylanovaz6127 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Zvch. I wondered the same thing so I bought a freecoaster and at first I was terrible with it but once I got use to it I could 180 fine, with the cassette I would just stop instantly pretty much and not roll back but with the freecoaster I find it's easier to 180 and keep the fakie going

    • @snookin5617
      @snookin5617 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Tony Lanovaz maybe i should get one, with the cassette i had the same problem and couldn’t get momentum to fakie, even if i go faster or do less carbs i couldn’t fakie out of it.

    • @skippy8696
      @skippy8696 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it's possible that you're just not landing the jump straight enough. I had the same problem. I thought I was getting the full 180 but in reality I was only getting a 160 or something, maybe get one of your friends to film you doing it. if you get enough speed, carve, turn your head and put a bit more effort into the hop you should roll back, even if it's just a little bit at first.

    • @SluggardRaccoon

    I grew up way down in tasmania riding bmx in the 80s we called a bunny hop when you lift both wheels up even together when we pulled the front wheel up first to hop we called it a mono hop ?so what you call a bunny hop we called a mono hop and a bunny hop was both wheels up together , we also had a trick called a rock walk with or without brakes we 180 the back around leaving the front wheel down and turned then we 180 the front around leaving the back wheel planted , the rock walk , different place cool riders small island

    • @hillsy29
      @hillsy29 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bunny hop: Lift the front up then lean forward whilst in the air. Your front must be high and your body needs to at least get to the bars.
      Easier bunny hop (not shown in video): Your pedals must be horizontal to the ground. Push down on the bars and lift up. Bend your knees.
      Endo: Do easier bunny hop but lean forward on the bars and don't lift the front up.
      Hope this helps!!!

    So I guess pushing the bike with your foot is the secret to the 180? When I was younger I always tried forcing the bike by rotating my upper body hard in the direction I wanted to go. It always seemed harder than it should of been. Now that I am getting back into riding I will have to try pushing the bike with my foot like you showed. Thanks for the video

      Julen554 it might be leg power you are probably using your arms more maybe put the energy from your arms and then transfer it to the legs in a singular motion whilst lifting
