Your first kayaking videos are actually the reason i got one for fishing!!!. Few weeks ago, My second time out on the kayak, Fishing a cicada for my first ever top water fish/bass. Nothing is gonna beat that visual and feeling of watching them smash the lures right infront of you
When the Rona finally leaves everyone alone I would love to see a morning tide reunion on a BIG USA fishing tour. Alaskan salmon, halibut and I can put you on a big sturgeon jet boat in the Columbia River in the Pacific Northwest. Hit some large mouth bass, pike and that's not even getting into florida.. you boys would have an excellent time.

briggsy there r so many beautiful bass creeks round the tweed/north coast. i grew up on the richmond over looking greys falls, which is the barrier from salt/brackish to fresh. there r miles of kayak water down river and many miles up river and also this can be fished by walking. where we put the kayaks/punt in is the old wharf that the steamers use to come form ballina to deliver/load goods many moons ago(i actual have a picture of the wharf and steamer being unloaded). we still fish/launch there and i still live there today. top sesh mate. cheers.
Sweet vid...Those bass look exactly like what we call white perch in the N.Eastern U.S....They are called perch but they are actually in the true bass family. Closely related to striped bass..Enjoy !
Fun fact the platypus lays eggs and can also produce milk. Making it one of two very unique mammals the echidna be the other that make its own custard 🤣

It has been my experience that Bass videos in Australia don't get much love when compared to other species. Other creators like John @mylurebox have mentioned the same too. Surface fishing for Bass has to be one of the most exciting forms of fishing, it's a shame that more people don't enjoy watching it.

4k @25fps, Superview, Stabilisation On, ProTune On, Bit Rate Standard, Shutter Auto, EV Comp -0.5, White Balance 5000k, Iso Min 100, Iso Max 400, Sharpness Low, Colour GoPro, Wind On. Those are the main settings I change. Hope that helps Mate!

Hi Mate, I usually only wear gloves for heavy tackle (landing fish/grabbing the leader and casting heavy lures with braid line). If I wear them light tackle it’s to avoid certain species fin spikes/barbs that can be super painful.
