I have this on an old videotape! One of 3 I have on an Apha Home Entertainment VHS tape. The other 2 are "The Bulleteers" (1942), and "Volcano" (1942). In addition to this, I have a 2-tape set of Bosco Video VHS tapes of all 17 Superman shorts produced from 1941 to 1943. As is the case of this print of "The Mechanical Monsters", Superman's costume appears black where it is usually colored blue in all 3 shorts I have on the Alpha tapes. I'm not sure why this is the case, but I'm guessing that it's probably a result of the transfer to 16mm film or something, I really don't know.

Very rare 16mm copy. Most of the copies on here are restored. But nice find regardless.
