no check valve on inlet? no vent on pump?
never mind i just head the part about venting it tomorrow...does it need a check valve on inlet?
You can put a check valve on the inbound lines if you want, they are not required but some people do add them.
How come I install mine and when I plug it in, the motor runs even though there is no water? It should not be running at all unless there is water.
The unit should not run unless there is water in the reservoir. Is the system vented properly? How old is the unit?
The SanifloStore I just bought it brand new. I think it is vent problem. I put a 1 1/2 in long pvc pipe in the vent and have a portable vent on the top above the 10 feet ceiling. How can I fix the problem then? Thanks!
Hi there. I got this installed by plumber and I am not sure whether it’s been installed properly. As the water keeps coming back and the pump runs for a long time. Can you pls help me to find out if the pump has been installed properly or not. Thank you very much.
Sounds like he may have failed to install the supplied check valve on the discharge line or the check valve is malfunctioning. You can give us a call or call the manufacturer at 800-571-8191. Take some pics of the installation and a video if possible. Where did you purchase the unit?
