Nice to see a lecture concerning Africa in the FWW, arguably the most fascinating theater of that conflict

Lettow Vorbeck cost the Brits dearly in terms of money and effort. He also led the only invasion of British territory during the war. He was a proud Prussian, and publicly cursed Hitler after refsing to give the fascist salute.

I knew about the big names in this lecture but this was very informative. Very well done. This is one of the most informative lectures in the entire channel

An excellent presentation. Wish there was more time for questions given at the end.

I notice this was a 2015 lecture and that it's a rare video that includes a woman. I notice her credentials aren't listed in the description. Why? Isn't the war in Africa as important as the usually featured topics?

Fair observation. I doubt it was a deliberate snub, but it would be nice to include a couple paragraphs’ description.

@@leifdrangsholt3190 Agreed. I would like to know more about her. I note that the other speakers at this conference were announced in the credits. I'm from South Africa and admit to being skeptical about how she would handle it, but I was impressed.
