Somebody needs to say it. With Vrabel getting hired and starting the domino effect, the Jets need to get something going. I think the GM should come first because of the power hierarchy. Pretty soon the other coaching spots will be getting filled, thinning out the options and thinning out the lower staff options. We have more empty positions than time. The worst case scenario staring us in the face is paralysis by analysis with 6 thousand interviews and no decisions while all the other spots get filled and we're left scrambling for scraps.

Absolutely correct. Time is running out. Need to get these hires done quickly. Early March is free agency period-April is the draft. Let’s give them some time to figure out what needs to be done. Don’t want everything rushed and that’s where mistakes are made. If it’s Glenn he won’t be available to Feb 10 the latest. Is this what we want as Jets fans??????

I still am unsure if Aaron Glenn is ready to be a HC, which is why I was always saying to bring him in as an assistant HC under someone like a Rex Ryan (who apparently is not an option anymore) who is an established and experienced coach who can give him some mentoring for the HC position. Glenn is doing a great job as a DC in Detroit, but I don't want him tossed to the wolves too soon. If he becomes an HC in 2025, let it be with New Orleans and let him get some seasoning there in a more stable organization. An unforgiving city combined with an unstable ownership isn't the place for a rookie HC.

In his book, "First Down & a Billion," the late Gene Klein, owner of the SD Chargers, told all his GMs, "When you hire a head coach, the only requirement I have is prior head-coaching experience, even if it was for only one season and he failed. At least he knows what the job entails. "A man can be the greatest OC, DC or whatever, but HC takes a whole new skill set, one a lot of these guys don't have."
This is one of Very few instances in which I believe it makes at least some sense, for example coaching any team in NYC. Their media...UGH! "Hard cases," quoting "Cool Hand Luke."
All that said, I do not know why any sane person would want the Jets job.
    Players come and go.
    Coaches come and go.
Even general managers come and go.
What stays the same, & thus must accept at least a share of the blame for such perennial failure? OWNERSHIP!
Thanks for a Good video, Sir. Cheers!

Glenn is the right move, he has something most coaches don’t have and it’s what Saleh didn’t have.
He has passion for the game and he is not only more relatable I believe he is more authentic and would truly hold players accountable.
I believe also he can work with a player like Rodgers and have the balls to bench him if need and say no to Rodgers safety blanket in Nate Hackett

I think the main difference is the state of the cap. We already seen the Saints have to move on from their best defensive player in Lattimore and they're going to have to make some big moves to get under the cap space. A lame duck aging vet at QB who plans to keep playing and said he wont restructure for less money, an aging RB that they oddly extended, health issues in the WR room, an injured and bad o-line, best d-lineman is past his prime, the Saints are going to get a lot worse before they get good again. Jets have cap issues too but nowhere near as bad as the Saints and with a much more complete roster.

“As the Carousel churns, I will update you on the latest pulse.” That was the last line in Josina’s tweet. What a stupid, unnecessary line. Why did she even need to say any of that? What value did it add to anything, whatsoever? What’s with the random capitalizing of “carousel” and the usage of the words “churns” and “pulse”? Nice mixed metaphor by the way, Josina - gotta love those churning, pulsing carousels. I like Aaron Glenn a lot and his ties to the Jets are huge for a HC to survive our culture the Johnson’s created. But he’s a complete guess how he will be as a HC and the Lions defense is their weakest part of their team. The Johnson’s probably ruled Rex out because they listen to fans comments that they will revolt against the team if we hire him. But Rex took 2 mediocre teams to back to back AFC championships, and then had almost NO talent to work with after that. Imagine giving Rex THIS team. The defense will be flying all over the field. Nobody will want to play us. If we can hire the right OC, this team will be special.

Why is there this regurgitated media narrative that Aaron Glenn is a, ‘leader of men?’ That’s an assumption; much like we all assumed once upon a time that Robert Saleh and Jeff Ulbrich were, leaders of men.
I know Dan Campbell is a leader of men and I know that Dan Campbell can aggressively coach to win high pressure games. That doesn’t mean that Aaron Glenn can command a football team and effectively manage a game. (Would you have assumed that Jeff Ulbrich would have been as completely lost as he was?)
What we know is that Aaron Glenn is a respected DC; much like we knew Robert Saleh was a good DC, it’s not necessarily a transferable skill set to HC.
I’m not down on Aaron Glenn but it’s not a forgone conclusion that he’s the guy for this job. He has connections to the Jets; so does Rex Ryan, is that enough?

He's a high quality guy, who's turned detroit into a superbowl contender. One can argue the lions have a worse history of ineptitude when the jets have. He's a former player who understands what it takes to succeed in NY. He's the best for me. I hope we hire him.

I like Glenn but not at this point in time for the Jets. Who can Glenn actually bring in w/ him? Probably a QB coach who would be another 1st time OC. You have to get a GM that knows what he’s doing.. otherwise bringing in a 1st time HC like Glenn is setting him up for failure once again.. then in 2027 we’ll be back here again looking for another HC. Then Glenn will go w/ another team and succeed for sure.. Personally I would like Pete Carroll or try and pry away Tomlin from the Steelers.. Not letting Rex back in here is a big mistake! How come this idiot W. Johnson doesn’t want an experienced HC?? 1st year Head Coaches don’t work! Learn ur lesson.. Jets fans are just hoping Glenn is the guy b/c of what he’s done in Detroit and is a familiar name. Salah did a great job as a DC in San Fran. Where did that get us? Let’s just learn from our dumb mistakes.. Let’s please finally get it right!! Go get a competent GM!! Remember something, NFL is just entertainment.. it’s not the presidency! Coaches don’t want to come here b/c of Woody! We’re stuck in a cluster fuck till this moron sells the team! Go Jets.. 👍🙏🏈

Get someone with EXPERINCE and PLEASE NO RAY FARMER, or Jim Nagy. If those are the hires I'm DONE WITH THIS FRANCHASE.

Yet another 3-4 years wasted because of a bad hire...They keep drafting "D" coaches when what they need is an OFFENSIVE HC, You can always
add a solid "D" coordinator...I can't take it anymore... Woody, is a stone fool...
