Despite being Assistant Professor of Horticulture, I love to hear your lecture sir.....way of teaching is beyond the words. Can be easily understood by any one.
C:N ratio एवं Decomposition पर इतने बेहतरीन तरीके से आज तक किसी से भी सही जानकारी प्राप्त नही हो पाई थी .. got special knowledge & clearing doubts from you, for which I am grateful . please keep teaching like this sir
Respected sir, Todays I am understood what is CN ratio, and difference between Mineralisation and immobilisation............ I am feeling better after see your channel. 🙏🌾🌾Thank you sir🌾🌾,
Sir, your explanation is very simple and easy to understand even for a person like me without any agriculture background. Of course, I am extremely curious about the 'WHY' question. Many thanks for making it so simple.
If I applied fym and vermicompost to groundnut crop to fulfill my phosphorus RDF of g.nut .then what the effect of extra nitrogen who's going to be added while maitaining the phosphorus to crop .speciallyin .nut _ finger millet sequence ?
@@amitbhatnagarclasses247 Shall we propose to farmer organic manure like fym and vermicompost is used on the basis of p content. Bcos extra n is lost....if we applied previous crop in sequence
Sir if the bacteria can fulfill its nitrogen requirements by taking nitrogen from soil solution, then why does the rate of decomposition get affected by different C:N ratios of different crops
Sir thank you for the explanation. Sir to maintain the C:N after every crop harvesting should we rotate with legumes, so it can fix the N with its residues and second doubt you told apply urea, does this synthetic not kill the microorganisms in the soil. How about spraying liquid cow dung & urine soultions to fix N with any crop residues mixed with soil and then plant the crops.
High c:n ratio means it have low nitrogen for microbes in relation to nitrogen so microbes to completely utilize carbon of organic material take nitrogen from soil solution. Hence nitrogen availability decreases

What should be the optimum size of the residues for optimum decomposition?
Nicely expanded. If I keep adding only jeevamrut/gokrupa amrut/waste decomposer without adding residue, what will happen over period of time (years)?
Thank you so much sir.very helpful video.🙏
Thank You so much
Before this i was never able to understand C:N ratio ❤❤
Well explained

Great Video. Could you please tell me how many number of days after incorporation of dhaincha should i plant (ropai) rice (parmal/basmati)
Best 👍
Thanks
Thank you sir
Sir what if all the nitrogen like all become available to the crop . Then what will happen . Kindly make a video on this
Why low CN ratio plant residue decompose faster??
Because of more availability of nitrogen to microbes.
🥰🥰

Extra nitrogen is lost.

Thank you so much sir,

Sir if the bacteria can fulfill its nitrogen requirements by taking nitrogen from soil solution, then why does the rate of decomposition get affected by different C:N ratios of different crops
C:N ratio.....12:50
for decomposition if we use uria than other microbes may die na?
no
Thanku so much sir

Urea is an organiz fertilizer as it contains carbon
Sir, Can I use this video for training purpose ?
Justify that availability of nitrogen decrease when an organic material having high c:n ratio is incorporated in soil in 3 lines
High c:n ratio means it have low nitrogen for microbes in relation to nitrogen so microbes to completely utilize carbon of organic material take nitrogen from soil solution. Hence nitrogen availability decreases

Pls clarify organic - inorganic - organic form , still jumble .
Organic form means like proteins, carbohydrates etc
Inorganic form means like nitrates, sulphate, phosphate etc
