Wait I thought Military helmet Redused damage by 50%? and isnt altyn like 75% (without face mask) since its 3x? and with the facemask it just reduces damage to face shots?

Nope. Without the face shield it acts like a military helmet, and with the face shield it acts like tier 3 armor. Doesn't matter where you hit a shot on the head.

so altyn helmet and faceshield is useless to 50 bmg or does damage dropoff save u cuz i survived a mrad shot to the head before with a level 2 helmet but it was from 700m away

you can craft weapon repair kits with sponges, but I don't recommend crafting them, they suck

It's up for personal preference. I prefer to have better sight than protection.
