  • DR Power Grader pulled behind an ATV | Belted Galloway Homestead
    I purchased a DR Power Grader to help with the grading and smoothing of the driveway and gravel area. It is a DR power-actuated, pull-behind grader.
    This grader has a pendant remote control that lets you adjust your grading depth from your tow vehicle while you drive. I will discuss my modifications, the operation of the grader, and recommendations. I used the Mavic Air 2 drone for some aerial shots of the grader in action. There is even an action cam blooper at the end of the video. Belted Galloway Homestead

    Thanks for sharing, it helps me decide if I wanted to go with DR grader, which I probably will. loved view of the road afterwards and the blooper.

    Using that 60lb battery as the center weight is ingenious. Great video.

    Wish I could use that, the rain etch in 6" gullys thru my driveway for 200ft, the drive in this picture looks perfect before hand.

      Thanks for the comment! The rock in the drive had been pushed down into the surface. I little grading with this DR Grader will scratch and lift them back to the top. Thanks for watching!

      Thanks for the comment. I have been happy with mine except for the electronics trouble. Gets the driveway smooth.

    The DR Power Grader works good for me. Does a tractor box blade or skid steer planner work for you as well? Please comment!

    Thanks for the video. How do you maintain a crown of the grader doesn’t have a tilt feature?

    • @BeltedGallowayHomestead
      @BeltedGallowayHomestead  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the question. I will run my grader on half of the driveway. Then I will grade the other half on the way back. I think this maintains the crown.

      @@BeltedGallowayHomestead What is the purpose of maintaining the crown?

      @@BrewCityRider Thanks for the great question. It is for the runoff of water. Otherwise, water will concentrate and create soft spots and mud holes. Thanks for reaching out!

      I used a remote actuator switch from Amazon for about 20 bucks and now it works flawlessly with a concrete block for added weight and I only use it after a decent rainfall

      Can you give me information on which remote actuator switch you selected and which wires you replaced. I have one of these graders I haven't used in a year and the remote stopped working.

    Wait till it rains, and then pull it. No offense but you’re wasting your time pulling it on a dry dusty day. The wetter the better.
