  • The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has revealed that Black Starlets coach, Laryea Kingston misconducted himself while stepping down as head coach of the team.
Kingston announced to the media he had quit his role moments after the team’s 2-1 defeat to Burkina Faso at the ongoing WAFU B U-17 championship.

Sadikke my problem with these coaches and ex players is they don't talk ooo, they always don't talk.. ex players and coaches should come out and talk about all the nonsense going on at the Gfa. They should not be afraid of any form of victimization, they need to be brave and expose the ugly things going on .

Africa is supposed to be representing by 10 teams and hence caf cannot hold a 8 nation caf under 17!
Some people are saying caf ll hold a 16 African under 17 but they are wronged tho
Caf ll increase the slot to 24 nations!
      6 from Northern Africa
      6 from Southern Africa
      6 from Eastern Africa
      6 from Western Africa( wafu)
Wafu have two zones, zone A and zone B which means that 3 countries ll come from ZONE A and 3 from zone B
Which means that, Ghana or Nigeria ll joined Ivory Coast/burkina as the third placed nations to qualified to the 24 caf under 17 tournament in Algeria!!
Our third and fourth match against Nigeria is the most crucial match in this tournament

Stop your too known and research before u exposed yourself
Fifa has increased Africa slots at the under 17 to 10 slots
49 nations are going to be represented in the fifa under 17 in Qatar which means FIFA decided to increase Africa slot to 10 nations
Caf cannot hold 8 Africa under 17 tournament as the participating nations wldnt be enough to choose the 10 allocated slots for Africa and hence CAF will increase the slot
Caf ll choose 6 nations from each regional associations in Africa
      6 from northern Africa
      6 from Southern Africa
      6 from Eastern Africa
      6 from Western Africa(wafu)
Making the total 24 and hence caf ll organized a 24 nations Africa under 17 tournament to select the 10 nations that ll represent Africa in Qatar
Ghana or Nigeria ll picked the third slot from WAFU ZONE B and the 3 other nations from WAFU ZONE A making the west Africa representatives 6
Our final match against NIGERIA is the most crucial of all the matches
I even believe that, Ghana and Nigeria ll both qualify becasue caf ll organize a 32 Africa under 17 instead of 24
8 nations from each regional associations which ll make Ghana and Nigeria qualify
There’s no way caf is leaving GHANA AND NIGERIA out of a new caf format looking at their fans numbers and their online engagements
      8 nations from Northern Africa
      8 from Eastern Africa
      8 from Southern Africa
      8 from west Africa
Making the total 32 nations and I believe caf ll choose this format instead of 24 to fit Ghana and Nigeria in because is a new format and they want Ghana and Nigeria fans support both physical and ONLINE

@ saddick Adams, we all know Laryea has been a good and honestly very good player but this same emotions has been his problem. As a player he played very well but always let the emotions take over . We all know in this game of football when too much emotions are involved while we disregard the technical aspects isn’t gonna be possible. You have to be good technically and being good technically takes care of the emotions. Discipline is key. You can’t change a narrative if you’re not ready to endure what is making that narrative be in existence and it’s not easy. Can we agree that he failed since he couldn’t change the narrative he’s spent money on himself to change because personally I am hoping he comes back stronger to change it cos he can. I think his resignation is pre matured....I like Laryea Kingston as a player and enjoyed his coaching prowess. I beg to disagree with Sadick Adams over the red card that led to Laryea missing the world Cup 2006. Laryea Kingston invited the red card for himself. He wanted the referee to send off the Senegalese player and theatrically throwing himself to the floor unnecessarily holding his face as if the Senegalese player head butted him. The referee had no option but to send him off for trying to deceive him. However, the GFA could have selected him to feature in the world cup since we were guaranteed 3 matches at the group stage. He could have played the last group match against Brazil.

If you continue hiding things all in the name of you dont know what will happen tomorrow we will remain like this forever. Its time you guys spill out the errors of this gfa and we build the whole national teams again.

Resign but not retired . You kept saying Retire Retire. Anyway, our football people at the GFA are the truly downfall people for mother Ghana's football。

Decades ago, i held a role of helping gathering a team of ticket sellers on behalf of Sports bodies. Mostly, ladies were selected from K-Poly, Collegiate, UST, and other institutions. A few times i was involved in similar roles - when tournaments/games were held in Accra. I was privileged to gather some information: some FOOTBALL KNOWLEDGE.
From the Odartey Lampteys to the Dan Addos to the Awudu Issakas, the Duahs, Famiyehs, etc etc, Ghana could have really had a STRONGER, LARGER representation in Europe and elsewhere. There were many players i knew, personally, around the Zongos alone, who probably played better than Ronaldo and Messi.
Sadly, WE'VE NEVER HAD GOOD MANAGERS. Player Management is poor; coaches are not allowed to build teams. Too many Management problems/influence.
Apart from Sam Ardy's Multi-system (remember? that ALL GO, ALL COME style), lack of Proper Management has been our major problem.
I pray the Otto Addo would have some freedom in his SECOND COMING stint with the Black Stars.

Stop the nonsense, we talk too much. We try so much to destroy everybody. Layea wanted a platform to market himself and got it. So his resignation has nothing to do with changing any narrative. These speculation and incoherent mumbling by Saddick is self seeking. Asante Twum did worst but today he is singing the praise of the GFA.
