Luckily irl, oxygen doesn’t explode unless from a chemical reaction, and a fire will instead of making it explode, that fire will instead engulf everything around it and almost instantly burn out So yeah you’d probably still die but you won’t explode
The chemistry behind this: I do believe that when exposed to high enough temperatures the hydrogen and oxygen molecules separate from water (H20 which is 2 oxygen molecules and 1 hydrogen molecule I think). Snow is made of water. This would be why an explosion could happen realistically from that.
From a physics standpoint, colloids (as they currently exist) would actually make TERRIBLE armor and, in fact, the most effective armor solution would be something that, essentially, acts like a colloid in reverse (softening on impact to slow down whatever it is that it's trying to stop). That's (more or less) how modern armor (kevlar) and defensive solutions (those dirt filled walls used by the army) work. ;)
I didn't understand what was going on until you pointed out the protons, neutrons, and electrons. Basically you made it so hot that the sub-atomic particles can't hold on to each other and so they split off. Congratulations you have just destroyed a bunch of atoms!
exotic plasma recipe: put exot and nble at a 2 to 1 by volume into the indestructible chamber close the chamber turn on the electron emitter integrated into the wall with an energy wall between the emitter and the main chamber wait until until exot turns to plsm
You set the snow's temperature high enough to separate the hydrogen and o2 atoms. That means you basically took water and turned it directly into extremely volatile fuel, and heated it past combustion point instantly or very quickly. That is why you are not supposed to use water to extinguish magnesium fires- it's the same problem. I don't know what SING is that people keep talking about, but I never learned about that when dealing with magnesium fires. (Something from the game maybe, to simulate this property? I have genuinely no idea.) This is why for many years it was common practice on aircraft carriers to throw a burning aircraft off the side- trying to extinguish it was extremely dangerous, so just letting the vast ocean dampen the explosions was the best way.
@@kubagrotowski I had completely forgotten about this post. Thank you for clarifying for me anyway, I was mildly concerned there was something more to magnesium fires I wasn't aware of.

WRONG MEGA WRONG it explodes because snows ctype is singularity and when it melts it becomes singularity and singularity with high tmp simulates the big bang And aome honorable mentions: WRONG WRONG MEGA SUPER DUPER WRONG MEGA WRONG
From a real science perspective; you probably heated up the snow to such a temperature so quickly that the atoms flung themselves apart into their base protons, neutrons and electrons, the photons are a result of the energy being released when the atoms are torn apart.
