correction: beat saber PSVR actually came with 0.12.0 not 0.13.0 and had it (0.12.0) before the PC version had it (PC was still on 0.11.2) PSVR got 0.13.0 the same day PC got it and had a different UI to the PC version when expert+ was added to PC PSVR also got the update PSVR also had OST 2 first I still have version 1.06 (expert+ update) of beat saber installed to my old PS4 and have uploaded some gameplay of it on my channel

@@Retr0_ most of your viewers (or at least the people that would click a video like this) would already have played a lot of these OST levels, so listening to them again here in TH-cam isn't one of their top priority. As a suggestion, you could make a follow up video that spans the very first version up to the latest controversial UI. Bet that'll blow up 🙂
I liked the way the debris handled in the early days better too. I really wish they'd give us the option to control how the debris behaved, like whether it flew towards you, away from you, or lost all velocity when struck.
They should make it so that when you turn on "Screen Distortion" in the settings, it gives you the refracted saber handles. Also in the environment option where the only choice is "Glass Desert," they should put another one in called "OG" and it's the old platform
The graphics from the first version you showed off, are amazing. The effects, the reflective surfaces, everything about it looks so unique from everything else on the market, around that time. You cannot deny that the first version looks a lot better than the stuff we have now.

We got a VR headset for Christmas and my parents downloaded a Bts pack on beat saber for me and I have reached the point where I think hard is too easy and now I play on expert!
That 0.13 update was so cool, especially the sabers (I use custom ones now though). The game just kept getting better and better until the more recent updates with the new menu. It's somewhat confusing, but as long as the base game is the same I'm happy.
I agree. However I do quite like the revamp of the newer menu which they added just a couple days ago and the menu music. I also love how the colours pop more, its a nice addition! Thanks for stopping by! 😁
I started playing beat saber in March 2020, I can't remember which version it was back then, but the last two ones you showed looked familiar to me, I kinda remember the refractions on the sabers in the menu, it looked so much better than now tbh

Honestly 0.10.1 is my favorite ver It may not have old custom songs but it has a simple ui and these cool simple saber and everything is just so simple and i love it
Dang. The older textures from like 1.9 or whatever were so good. The mods were amazing, no one was really GOOD some people were good for the time but compared to now they sucked. Good times. But you know what they say. Be glad that it happened. Not sad it’s over. The game is still really fun though.

and i was a psvr player until i upgraded to pc
