    In my arc pro only few 3d models. No trees no building vehicle and all.. What can i do

      You must download some rpk packages or 3d models from arcgis online website, there are plenty of assets there.

    where did you get that procedural model from? what is it's name? do you have to set up the polygon_non_building layer with specific attributes to run the procedural model? thanks.

      In this case, it is not, however specific attributes implementation is also possible in the procedural modeling

      Got the RPK model from arcgis online

    How can I Arc GIS pro software for installation on my laptop

    • @GEO2004
      @GEO2004  ปีที่แล้ว

      Buy them from esri.com, installation procedures should be given in the provided installer after purchasing

    Great video. Were you able to fix the areas were the terrain was hiding the ground fill pattern from the rule package? I'm having the same problem where the terrain changes and only the trees are showing.

    • @GEO2004
      @GEO2004  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      have you performed some additional steps like offset the symbol?

    • @gregbacon8467
      @gregbacon8467 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GEO2004 Yes, but the offset needed for a small hill, about ten feet, made the tree fill area float above the terrain. I reduced this some by creating a z-enabled polygon and using its z values for height but I still had ground showing through.

      @@gregbacon8467 yeah, my experience is also gave similar problem if we use the default elevation services provided by ESRI/ARCGIS, do you have other terrain elevation provider for your country? if there is one, what about using them instead the default elevation services?.

      i wanna do the same as the video shows on part where all 3D trees imported from city engine

    • @GEO2004
      @GEO2004  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@chasahar4422 the trees is not imported from city engine, I only use Rule package generated from CGA in City Engine, not the data itself, the tree layer is still coming from point layer.

      @@GEO2004 ohh i see, how do i get the rule package from City Engine

      I have shared the link in the video description, about looking for pre-made RPK in arcgis online, if you want to get a custom RPK according to your own specs, I am afraid you must create it manually in City Engine, and you must have a significant knowledge about CGA code writing for that.

    Hi thank you for great tutorial ! I have a question. How can I get 3d building data ??

    • @GEO2004
      @GEO2004  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you are looking for a free data, OSM provides the building polygon data, but it is still lack of building height information. May be you can check it out. If you are lucky, you will find the height information for your country dataset.
