This is what happens when a workplace is made to feel like it is a place of competition, if that happens there will be people such as Zoey who will lose their sight of the realities around them-the people who are in need of medical attention and care. A workplace that involves medicine shouldn't focus on the competition but rather the necessary merits needed to learn if one truly wants to contribute to the world of medicine and/or hospital care. I know, this is just a fictional story, but this really sends out a really important lesson when comes to becoming a doctor, nurse, or just contributing to the world of medicine.
